She's walking around feeling nothing
So numb that not even the rain falling effects her.
Praying that one day the sun will shine again and this cloud hanging over her shoulders will go away soon.
Wishing someone would reach out and help her feel again.
The sadness holding on so tight that the only place she feels safe is in her own bed.
 

Would not feeling be such a bad thing?
No more pain or agony
No more misery or sadness
The only thing there will be is
Nothing
An empty shell moving around
Uncaring and unloving
Just being alive and hoping every day will be your last
What's the point of staying alive if you don't feel alive?
I'm done putting on a show
I'm done pretending I'm okay
I am not okay
I'm low, dark, lost, broken, and
Unfixable
Some damages will never come undone
Some damages change who you are forever
And there's no turning back

It crawls through me, and i slowly stop feeling. Every emotion dims out until theres nothing. Numb. Empty. Finally the pain recides. At least for now.

I was quickly learning that something far worse than the pain of loss or longing was the state of feeling utterly passionless and numb. That vast empty void in your life when nothing quite mattered enough to lead you to feel much of anything one way or another.
