the valedictorian was telling them right
now. About the exciting future that lies ahead. I wish
she'd tell them the truth: Half of you have gone as far in
life as you're ever going to. Look around. It's all
downhill from here. The rest of us will go a bit further, a
steady job, a trip to Hawaii, or a move to Phoenix, Arizona,
but out of fifteen hundred how many will do anything truly
worthwhile, write a play, paint a painting that will hang in a
gallery, find a cure for herpes? Two of us, maybe three? And
how many will find true love? About the same. And
enlightenment? Maybe one. The rest of us will make compromises,
find excuses, someone or something to blame, and hold that over
our hearts like a pendant on a chain.

I want you to know that even though your
world will soon expand, and your responsibilities will grow,
and your friends may drift apart — you will be okay. You
will be okay because each day the Earth will spin as it always
has. Though now and then you may feel overwhelmed, your options
will be numberless and each turn may feel like a terrible
mistake, there will also be the days where you are allowed to
sleep in, eat breakfast foods at midday and stay up late into
the night watching Supernatural reruns. And you will learn that
there is a beautiful intimacy to sharing your company with the
ones who really matter, the ones who don't let you drift
apart, the ones who fasten themselves to you like ships to
anchors and scream to the wind, “We will face the
storm that is life,
together.”

So it's been a while since I've posted something on here but I
just want to say that I am finally graduated from high school and
am finally getting my life together. I believe that things are
really looking up for me and I would like to say thank you to
anyone that has helped me along the way or believed in me! I love
you guys!
now that prom is over i can taste graduation and i can not wait.

Hey! I'm back after my long
Hiatus. I finally graduated high school. Its OVER! Time for
college!
"I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have
ended up where I needed to be." That is my senior quote. Today I
graduate from High School. I joined Witty Profiles with my then bff
Ali, back in 2009. We were in middle school. We went through so
much on Witty in the years that we were friends and after that.
We've all grown apart and grown up in our own ways. Signing
yearbooks, me and Ali talked about all the memories we had together
and all the fun we had. Witty was there through it all; the boys,
the breakup, the fights, the arguements, everything. Now we're all
grown up.
