What if clouds and
lakes switched spots and every time you looked up you’d
see waves being pulled by the moon and we’d wade through
the clouds on a hot day. What if birds grew grass and the
ground grew feathers. What if flowers were as tall as trees and
trees as small as flowers.
They say the grass is greener on
the other side.....
So I walked over to my neighbor's lawn to admire that fact.

When I'm older, I want to live in the country. Where
there's no one but me and my family. I'll have my husband
and my two kids. One girl, (Jenalecea rose)... and one boy,
(Jacob Owen .... It'd seem like they'd never grow up and
they'd be stuck in time with the sun shining down on their
unruly hair, and their eyes shining bright with mischeif as they
run through the endless fields of long green grass. I'd walk
hand in hand with my husband, my free hand gently brushing the
tops of the grass. Our small Brown house in the distance behind
us. There'd be no buzz of traffic or the sound of my
neighbours kids playing next door. It'd be just us. We'd
be alone but we wouldn't feel lonely. It would seem like we
had the whole world to ourselves and there was nothing to
interrupt us and every moment would last forever…(';
Thats how it's gonna be. :)
I love the smell of rain
as it falls from the dark sky
late at night
spraying into my room
through the open window
gently whispering
the secrets of the night
with each drop that lands on the carpet.
The sky is angry,
my room is luminated
by the celestial glow of the flood lamps outside
I sit on my bed
listening to the night's music
and dreaming of a new life.
