A child once took the heart of his father to sell,
while he was running, he dropped the heart and fell down.
The heart, all covered in dirt, then said
"Baby, are you ok?"
That's the heart of a parent.

"honey, i’m pregnant."
“hello pregnant,” he whispers, tears of joy in his eyes. “i’m dad.”
When I'm a parent, I'm going to give my child the day of every full moon off from school every month and see how long it takes the administration to notice.
Daryl Dixon:
Better mother in five seconds
than Lori in three seasons.

Please and I repeat please, do not bring parents into an argument, specially when you have never met them.
I love how unrealistic tv shows are.
*watching a show*
Son: Hey mom can I ask you what _________ was like?
Mom: *explains* why son?
Son: Just wondering.
Mom: Alright.

*In real life*
Me: Hey mom, *asks random question*
Mom: Why? What are you gunning for? What is your goal? What are you learning from this?
Me: Mom, it's nothing! I was just wondering.
Mom: No, why do you want to know? What does it matter to you?
Me: *Sigh*

Me: *went to bed at 5:30 AM*'
Mom: *wakes me up at noon*
Mom: What time did you go to bed?
Me: Uh, pretty... early... actually.

CHILDREN ARE GREAT AND ALL,
but i cannot stand whining or brattiness. i may sound
mean, but honestly, as the child's parent, you should
discipline him/her better. that doesn't mean to hit your
child or abuse them to get them in line, but i believe
in stern talking and telling them from wrong and right.
you can not just let your child walk all over you just
because he/she is young
—no, you are their parent,
and as their parent, you have a right to raise them properly.
"oh, she's just a kid!" "c'mon, he's only a tot!"
that is true. but the question remains, who is leading
who in the family? just because you are tired does not
mean you stay silent when your child is acting up.
i don't mean to offend or tell you how to raise your
family, but remember,
you are the parent.
i ask of you to act like one, and raise your young into
someone who not only you will be proud of, but one
that they will be proud of themselves.
