DON'T TELL ME
I NEED
     SAVING...

so when she left you,
did you feel hurt?
i only ask this because,
that's how you left me.

in a world of everything broken.

poem. [no capitals intended]

at night, cities never sleep.

there stands a girl and a boy,
at the roof top screaming at
the top of their lungs, hoping
that someone would notice.

notice their pain swept under
the rug of their cuts and dirt
in their finger tips, there lies
the nightly scent in their shirts

tears can be only seen when the
street lights hovers their heads.
maybe they both know each other
too much to the point that they
know they can never love each other.

no one loves broken things, but
inside they love each other so
tonight they scream at the top of
their lungs of the pain locked inside.

because to them, no one can love
with a broken heart can they?

[sorry for not updating as much! i just started high school and gotten obsessed with k-pop band: BTS]

It's a cry that echos through the years
The pain etched on each generation
I've been told it's history, that I am
A hundred and fifty years too late
To try and feel some type of way
But the hole in my heart wont seal up
It hurts to know that I've lost so much of
My family
My culture
My language
All because someone wanted gold
All because they needed land
And plots to call their own
Now they tell me its okay
For a school to have the mascot
Dress up in the same clothes as my Teton ancestors
They show the games on the tv
There are crowds of headresses
And dozens of faces cover in paint
Their "war cries" echo through the stadium
Where they pass a ball from one end to the other
And during half time you can watch the redman
Run and hop and holler
Impersonating a warrior in his prime
Its sad that these people see no wrong in these acts
"Its a tradition!" they claim
"Something thats been done for ages"
Cue the bitter laughter
Its a point thats proven true
Just grab an American history book
And flip to the beginning
There will be hundreds of tales
About the fight against these brown native men
And even after the war was won
They continue to earse the brown from his skin
They locked the people on strips of land
And took the children to boarding schools
Where they where told
How to dress
How to speak
And even how to live
They took their names
They took their homes
They even took their words
And all the while the Caucasian man was chanting
"Kill the indian, save the man"

Poem.

1) You told me you maybe in love
with someone, I didn't know.

2) This may, be the first time
I watched my heart break into
tiny little pieces. It felt as if
I watched a scene of a building
collapsing like my lungs.

3) It felt as if these days, I was
breathless. As if, I have been
swimming in the ocean of your
eyes and your arms drag me back
into a hug, I can't escape this love.

3) You tell me, you love her eyes.
How she smiles, and the shivers-
goosebumps, the small hairs that
raises up on your arm whenever
she smiles.

4) Have you seen a construction site
where they surrounded the building
with TNT? I have. It was my own heart.

5) I tried to stay away from you but,
it felt as if you creased a corner into
a page of me. Wrote all the words you
loved about her.

6) Have I told you I loved you?

7) I think, I should let you go.

8) I can't find myself leaving. Help,
I think I am drowning in my own tears.

9) Maybe I thought I was always yours.
That you always had saved a place, a
chair for me to be always yours.
Maybe I thought you were mine.
Maybe you believed I was just your friend.

10) You tell me, maybe you're in love
with someone, I didn't know. So, I smile.
Because, I thought it would have been
better off that I never knew this person.

So I wouldn't get myself shot, looking into
your eyes.

I'm helplessly in love.

Help.
