Psa Quotes

but speaking from
experience, if your parents are constantly telling you something is off about that boy or girl you brought home, you should probably pay more heed to their words than an eye roll or flippant “you just don't want me to grow up”. They know. Their keen judgment is like a sixth sense. None of the subtlest warning signs that you've been too carelessly infatuated to see have escaped their notice. Nine out of ten times they aren't saying your new friend is giving off toxic vibes out of jealousy or selfishness or pure spite; they've sensed something sinister beneath the smile and manners, and they're telling you for your sake. Not so they can ruin your life and keep you all to themselves and ensure you don't get any. They only want to protect and guide you, and they deserve more credit for their efforts than condescending disbelief and disregard. Take their well-intentioned advice into consideration now, and you could possibly spare yourself a world of disappointment and hurt later. I've learned ‘mother knows best’ the hard way.

PSA!!!!: It gets better.
verbal abuse & bullying is not ‘freedom of speech’

PSA:
If someone asks you something in one language,
please respond in that language
or else bystanders will be utterly confused.
Thank you
I'm well aware I spent three days alone in a cell, a simple easy price to pay for something that I felt. Towards someone so deserving, I hate those who pray on the weak. If asked to do it all again I would if needed be.
You all have something to say, or something to ask, I don't live in a cage.. It's none of your business.
I am tired of people with no medical backround telling me about my own body, or the bodies of others.

Please, to anyone who listens to people without a medical background, no matter what website they go their information from, please don't go off of what they say.

Stick to what your doctor tells you, not what some random person says he or she found online. I don't want anyone getting sick or hurt because someone without any medical jurisdiction thought he or she could play doctor for a little bit, or saw one video on youtube and now knows everything. I am not saying that everyone on here lies about whatever medical knowledge they spew out, but just don't go off of that alone. Consult a professional before anything, please.

This is not meant to offend anyone on here, I just wanted to get this out there.
Friendly reminder that sleep will always be 100000000000000% more important than completing all your homework, so if you've been at it for hours and you still haven't finished by ten pm, then just go to bed because finishing some homework and having around eight hours of sleep is a lot better than finishing all of it and only getting four hours of sleep.
Anxiety Attack:
--Usually extended over a longer period of time
--Symptoms include: Muscle tension, disturbed sleep, difficult concentrating, fatigue, restless sleep, etc.

Panic Attack:
--Usually quick and more intense
--Sypmtoms include: shaking, chest pain/discomfort, heart papilations, fear of dying/losing control, feeling of choking, etc.

What to do if someone you know is having a panic attack:
--Telling the person to "calm down" does not usually help
--Telling them to "stop overreacting" will make them feel worse.
--Try to tell them that it will pass and that it will not last forever
--Reassure them that they are in no danger
--If they want space, give it to them. Don't make them feel closed in, even if you have good intentions.

Remember that panic attacks can make a person feel as though they are dying
Imagine if you suddenly felt like you were about to die, and you genuinely believed it right at that second. You could feel your throat closing and your start sweating and shaking. Your heart begins to race and your stomach begins to twist.
This is what people feel, so please be respectful.

Supporting someone while they're having a panic attack is an amazing thing to do. But, be aware that what you say may can cause more harm than good, regardless of your intentions.
If we go on a date, please never take me to a concert.
It is hot as nuts in there, so don't touch me;
and I'll be so distracted by the music so you will get zero attention
