"Perhaps the only way for a husband to
know the true mind graph of his wife is to make her laugh wildly
or annoy her deeply enough; else she can hide

all throughout her life." ~Anuj

The past couple of days at school we
have been campaining for Student Council. I ran for Vice President,
and my best friends ran for President and Secretary. Another girl
that hangs around us also went for Secretery. We never really liked
her, but we didn't mind hanging around her. Does that make
sense? Well, during this campaigning, she went with the people
running against us. We made posters for our campaign. Her side tore
them down and wrote on them. We were mad at her and the guys she
was running with. We were so mad that at recess the next school
day, we went up to her to ask her a question. This is how it
happened.
Me: Can we ask you something?
Her: No, because I don't really care.
Me: We just wanted to know why you're being so mean to us in
this campaign.
Her and my friend, who is running for President, started going at
it. The conversation ended with the girl running against us saying
she wanted to kill herself. Her words were
similar to "ya know what, tonight I just might find myself
dead because I honestly don't care anymore. I have nothing and
I might as well just be
dead."
I never really liked this girl, but if any of you knew what
I've been through, you'd know that I'd act upon it. I
went to the principal to talk to her about what she said.
Everything is okay now. She didn't harm herself.
The twist? My friend, the one that went at it with the girl who
said she wanted to kill herself, is being bullied for taking this
"too far" and making her cry. That's not okay. Kids
got kicked out of the campaign because of what they were saying to
her.
I just hate how our world results in this. ITS STUDENT
COUCIL. I'm so glad I didn't win, because
I'm sure I would have been hated on all freshman
year.
