Oh sweet child, you are so much
stronger than you know. All the power you need to survive and
succeed has always been contained within you. The only true
challenge is locating the courage to rise to your feet and
claim it.
I can list the women who never promised to stay and the women
who stayed until they couldn't. I can list the men who left
because and because and because. But no. Instead I'll say:

Watches their self, we talk ourselves to the edge of a cliff

Heat Versus Temperature
It's simple. The Earth is emitting less heat than it's receiving. The temperature won't go up much as long as we have ice, because the ice absorbs the extra heat by melting. Once we lose the last ice, the temperature will rise faster than we can respond to and higher than we can survive.
We need to act while we still have ice. We need to change the atmosphere to allow the Earth to emit as much heat as it receives.
