This is Thanksgiving but
what's there to be thankful for?
300 school girls are still missing and almost no
one cares.
Over 200,000 people are dead in Mexico and no one
even knows.
The media is covering up a revolution in
Brazil.
The murderer of an 18-year-old black teenager has made
a fortune out of donations, is still living free, and has no
remorse for what he did.
However,
there are people dedicating themselves to informing us
about these injustices.
There are people standing outside in the cold risking their
lives protesting what they know is wrong.
There are people in our country and around the world that are
fighting for a change.
There are people that are still taking rubber bullets
and tear gas bombs to stand up for basic human
rights.
There are people simply recognizing that what is
happening in our world right now is wrong.
And that's what we need to be
thankful for.
