Chapter 9
Getting ready was going to be different today i wanted to look good. Regardless of whether this was a date or all in my head i knew i wanted to look good. I decided to wear a pair of white lace shorts , with a loose fitting maroon long sleeve shirt with a side pocket with maroon vans, curled hair , light makeup, and gold hoops. The whole outfit flowed nicely. There was a knock at the door ,and i automatically knew it was Daniel. I smiled to myself walking to the door to greet him.
"Hey "I said with a smile . 
"Hey , ready to go ?" He asked with a smile . 
"Yeah" I said coming outside expect to see one of those hideous things that goes by the name of pick up trucks. Instead I stared back at a Harley Davidson bad as* black motorcycle. It took me by surprise , i had a huge fear of motorcycles. I was not going to share that with him though , that would be giving him satisfaction. So , i decided to bravely just sit on the motorcycle in expectation of him to join me. Except , that's not how things went. To my own mortification I fell right on my butt trying to get on. I looked up to a chuckling Daniel with his hand out offering me assistance. I really shouldn't try to pull off the tough girl act it doens't suit me. I took his hand , he pulled me up without any effort needed. He lightly placed the helmet on my head. Gently touched my chin fastening the straps. 
"Thanks "I mumbled.
"You are welcome"He said in a normal voice getting on the bike and placing his own helmet on easily as if it was second nature.
"You coming ?"He said with a smirk. Just staring at me. I gave him a sarcastic look ,and than got on.
"You know that requires actual physical contact with me , scary i know but you'll actually have to wrap your arms around my waist unless you have a death wish. "He said. Something he said about a death wish sent my brain off. Just that sentence enough was enough to get me thinking about my addiction. He must have noticed something was up , because he asked with a concerned look
"Are you okay ?"

  wat, He texted me back.

 I put my phone away and finished eating. Right before i got up to put my plate away, Sam turned to dave and started to say,
 "Guess wha-"
 I shook my head no at her before she could tell Dave that i talked earlier. She looked confused for a second then she nodded as she understood what i meant, and i continued to put my plate away. I didnt want Dave to know i talked before i knew i was really ready to talk. I didnt want to disapoint him, like i had so many others.
 im goin for a walk, I texted Sam. She read it and nodded her approval.
 I waved, walked outside, and headed for the playground where i knew Jackson would already be.
 When i walked into the clearing, JAckson was sitting on the swings. He looked up and waved at me.
 "Hey Lyra. Whats up?"
 I sat down on the swing beside him and said slowly,
 "I need your help to come up with a plan. A plan for Dave accually. A plan for Dave to propose to Sam." 
  "What?" he sat up straighter. "Dave's gonna propose to Sam"
 "Yes, and he asked me for our help. He has no clue how to propose to her."
 Jackson rubbed his chin, thinking. then he slowly smiled.
 "I think i have an idea, Ly."
 "What?"
 He leanded toward me, then whispherd his plan in my ear.

 After talking, and planing with Jackson for an hour, we both decided to wait until morring to tell Dave our idea, then we went to our homes. When i walked into the house, Dave was gone and Sam was curled up on the couch with a giant bowl of popcorn watching a sappy romance movie. She looked up as i entered the room. She had a tissue pressed against her face. Sam always cried during romance movies.
 "Hey." She. You could here the tears in her voice.
 I waved at her.
 "So, did you have fun on your walk?"
 I nodded and smiled. She had no idea what I did or planned.
 "Thats good." She turned back to her movie and i took it as my cue to go to bed.
 The next morring, Dave was there for breakfast.
 "Morring Lyra. You sleep okay?" He gave me a look that said, you got anything.
 I smiled and nodded. He smiled back.
 "Good."
 Sam just ignored us and finished setting the table for breafast.
 I texted Jackson and told him to meet me and Dave after breakfast. Then texted Dave and told him the same thing.
 So after breakfast dishes were done, Dave turned to me and said,
 "Hey lyra, you want to go for a quick walk?"
 I nodded me head. Dave turned and walked outside. I turned to follow but Sam grabbed my arm.
 "You and Dave seem To be spending a lot of time together. What are you two planning."
 I shook my head like i had no idea what she was talking about, and followed dave outside. Sam was left standing there looking confused and mad at the same time.
 I cought up with Dave and Jackson at the bend in the road where the view from the houses where blocked.
 "So," Dave started excited, "What have you got?"
 Jackson told him our plan. He Leaned back and smiled hugly.
 "Perfect" He wispherd.

 "You what?!" i shouted, before  I clamped my hands over my mouth.
 Dave looked at me and said shocked, 'Did you just.... OH forget it, yes i lost it.!"
 "Dave!"
 "Sorry!"
 "uh guys?" Jackson said.
 "What?" I said angry.
 Jackson pionted at me. "You gave me the ring for safe keeping."
 "I did?"
 "Yes."
 I smaked my forhead.
 "Whoops, Im so stupid."
 Sam stepped in front of me.
 "Whats all this about a ring?" she asked.
 Dave took the ring from Jackson and knelt in front of Sam, who covered her mouth with her hand. Dave looked up at her shyly.
 "This didnt really go as palnned, but will you marry me? I Promise-" he didnt get anu farther before Sam threw herself at Dave and kissed him.
 "Yes! Of course I'll marry you Dave. I love you."
 Dave pulled her close. "I love you too Sam."
 JAckson looked at me and i at him. Then we cheered as loud as we could. Dave and Sam turned to looked at us.
 "Yay! Im finally getting a brother!" I said. "Thank God you said yes or else you would have been in trouble for all the work we did."
 Dave, finally over the shock of getting engaged, said, "You talked."
 I nodded shyly, and said, "Yeah, I did."
 I hugged them both. 
 "Congrats you guys. Im so happy for you."
 Sam wipped her eyes. "Thanks for this Lyra. Thank you so much."
 I hugged her again.
 "Your so welcome." i whisperd in her ear.
 
 

 So i split this up into two parts, didnt have to i just wanted to :p. I want to give a big shout out to hasoxtina and onceuponastory, fo helping me with ideas, these girls are awsome!. Thanks to everyone reading, it means a lot. I love you all (warnin, i cant spell)

 Sam looked at me shocked.
 "Did...Did you just talk?"
 I nodded my head, suddenly unable to talk anymore. I grabbed my notebook again.
  Im sorry. I just lost it. I dont think i can talk right now. Jackson's been working with me. He went through the exact same thing im going through.
 "That explains why you two hit it off so fast. Come here. I know its just one word, but I'm so proud of you." She pulled me into anthor tight hug. I hugged her back. "Im so sorry for what i said. I didnt mean it. I dont know why i said it."
 Its okay.I understand, youy were mad. I forgive you. Love you.
 "Love you too kiddo."
 I smiled at her. There was a knock on the front door. I shut my door and follow Sam downstairs. I stood behind her as she opened it to reveal Dave.
 "Hey Dave! I didnt know you were coming over today." Sam said, the she lean in to kiss him.
 Dave shrugged. "I need to talk to Lyra, accually."
 "oh, okay. Well go on then." She ushered us upstairs to my room  "You two talk, and I'll go make super."
 When she was gone Dave turned to me. He took a deep breath and sighed.
 "I guess theres no since in putting it off any longer. I need to ask you a question. Well your permission, accually."
 What?
 "I want to marry Sam. I love her so much and we've been together for a while now so i think its time to ask her."
 What?! OMG, seriously? I cant believe it. I'm so glad. I've been waiting for you to ask her since i was little. I'm so happy.
 "So your giving me permission to marry her?"
 DUDE! Dont let me stand in your way. Of course you have my permission to marry her. I hugged him. I cant wiat to finally have a dad.
 He hugged me back. "Im glad you feel this way. I didnt want to make you unhappy.
  Dont worry about me. Sam's gonna be so shocked. 
 ".Im gonna need your help. I dont know how im gonna do this."
 Dont worry i'll help you and ill recrute Jackson.
"Thank you. Come on kiddo. Lets go eat."
 When sam saw our faces she asked,
 "What? What are you two up too?"
 "What do you mean Sam? We havent done anything." Dave said, then he kissed her.
 As we sat down to eat, i pulled my phne out and typed,
 Jackson, I need ur help.





 Thank you guys so much for reading. This chapter was also being mean. I was about to post it, and the computer erased it all so i had to retype it. But here it is. Im sorry for taking so long to post. I've been having bad writers block, So if you guys have any ideas how Dave should purposr, Just let me know i could use some help. You guys are amazing, I love you all. (Warning i cant spell)

Chapter 9 (Part 3)

"Not really "I said with a shrug. 
"Oh well , he'll get to you sometime."She said smugly.
"What are you implying ?"I asked confused. 
"Oh nothing , Daniel just likes to get close with girls. "She responded. 
"A - lot of girls. "Sarah added. 
"Oh , thanks for the warning "I said quietly. 
"You're welcome "Lacey said with a squeaky voice turning around from me all the others following. 
Of course I was right. He did have a multitude of girls just like i thought. This was just a plain confirmation. Than why did i feel so hurt ? I knew it this entire time yet i still felt hurt. I felt a tap on the back of my shoulder. I turned around to a confused Daniel.

"Where'd they all go ?"He asked.
"No idea"I responded quietly. Hopefully , my hurt wasn't showing. Although , i had an odd feeling it was. 
"Well f.ck em' , come hang out with me and the guys. "He said with a smile.
"Okay "I said with a smile back at him. 
I walked with him up until we reached this group of guys. All extremely attractive , yet just not quite as attractive as Daniel.  
"Taylor , this is Kyle he loves food anything food go to him , right fatty ?"Daniel asked playfully. 
"Only thing fat is the size of my muscles "He said flexing his i must say large muscles. I giggled. 
"That is Mike , he can beat the living hell out of anyone you want him to ." He said pointing to the buff man .He looked like a huge body builder. Definitely an intimidating guy. 
"Jake , and jack their annoying twins , but extremely loyal "He said pointing to identically attractive guys.
"And lastly , this is my main guy Jason we've been tight since grade school. "He said introducing a hot looking guy with light brown hair and light blue eyes. He was quite yummy himself.
"Everyone , this is Taylor. She's visiting from the city for the summer. "Daniel introduced. They all looked at me with smiled in which i smiled back. They all seemed genuinely nice. 
"OOH TALK "The twins chorused.Than everyone else joined in with the exception of Daniel who just laughed.
"Hi ?"I said. 
"Whoa , definitely a northerner"Jason said . 
"Damn straight " Daniel responded . 
"Now now ,  don't  tell me you're a little b.tch "Daniel said to me.
"Oh , and what's that supposed to mean " I responded.
"That means are you going to whine and be scared when we go on rides. "He said. 
"You know , you really don't know me well"I responded.
"Well than let me get to know you "He said taking a step closer his eyes not leaving mine.
"Alright "I responded holding our stares.
"Guys , save the hook up session for later please"Jason said. Causing us both snap our heads to glare at him.
With that , we went on a bunch of rides. Ring of fire , graviton , the zipper , exc. All fair like rides. It was a blast. They were honestly some of the funniest people i had ever met. Also , even after the little run in before i knew i still liked him. At this point i really didn't care what some random girls had to say about it. 
"Alright well guys, i'm gonna ditch out for a sec. Taylor come with ?"He asked .
