The way you worded your question, it sounds like you've made up your mind, and you just want confirmation that it's the right choice. Nobody can say for certain, but know this: you'll never have the same bond with any two people, and that is a good thing, so don't hold onto that and don't let it hold you back.

I don't. He isn't trying to waste your time (the fact that he's honest about his feelings proves that. Do you know how hard it is to find a dude that'll flat out say something so simple and yet telling?) and he isn't necessarily afraid of commitment; he may be open to something serious but it isn't all he's after. He understands that it's okay not to see a future spouse in every person you give your time and affections. He's probably taking life at his own pace and isn't in a rush to settle down - and nothing is wrong with this mindset in your teens and twenties, as you should be your own biggest priority in these years (some people in their thirties and forties still feel this way, too - after all, it is not a life goal of everyone to end up married). Sometimes we get so caught up on one specific end result that we avoid something we aren't certain will give it to us, and in limiting yourself like this you could miss out on great happiness.

I lost my grandmother, who I was very close to, to pancreatic cancer last May, and I recently had my first birthday without her, so I know it's hard. But I also know they'd be proud of us for continuing our lives, even if we don't necessarily want to and even if they're vastly different without them. Your grandpa will never leave you, he's in your memories and in your very blood: he's helped make you who you are. So please take care of yourself for him, and for everyone else who loves you here on earth.

I love the Centipede, I had a bit of a crush on him as a little kid.... hehe. He's so crude and funny. He is my no. 1. Miss Spider is my favorite female, and I feel a little bad saying that because Miss Ladybug is such a doll and reminded me of my paternal grandmother. My sister and I might be dressing up as them (Mr. Centipede & Miss Spider) for Halloween, I suggested it and am excited at the prospect. I will of course show you pictures if it happens.
