I saw a quote earlier today about how someone doesn't
like it when other people say "They respect gays"
because it's almost like oh that's nice, but there is no
need to rub it in my face kind of thing from their point of
veiw.
That's all well and fine, it's your opinoin.
The thing is these people deserve nothing less than respect. They
have gone through so much, constantly being accused and shunned.
The get rejected by the ones they love and people they care about
just for being honest. It takes a lot of courage for someone to
come out. People don't enjoy being bullied over something
they have no control over.
It's not the fact that I respect them for being
"Gay." I repect them for accepting themselves and being
willing to share it with the people in their lives, even though
they might lose those closet to their
heart.
