sometimes its hard to tell how guys feel, but in my opinion i think he likes you... but might be afraid to say it. :)

I am going through this exact same situation. He did the same thing when I had my friend tell him I like him. But we might be getting somewhere now. I've started talking to him on Facebook... We are getting somewhere (: Don't give up. He probably likes you and is scared to tell you or thought your friend was lying to make fun of him. Don't worry. It will work out if its meant to be (:

Some guys are just too scared to tell you how they really feel. Maybe when your friend told him that you liked him he thought she was kidding or he just isn't ready to tell you how he feels. Judging by this, it seems like he likes you, but you have no way to know for sure until he says something. so wait for a little bit I guess and if he still doesn't say anything casually ask him who he likes or something. Go for it! Guys can be confusing about what they want. He was probably trying to be loyal to his then girlfriend, but if he's available, why not give it a shot and see what happens!!

You should take time to figure out how you feel and what you want before you do anything drastic. But you should see him as a friend and if you decide you wanna be more you should go for it!

he might have been lying just to impress you. i think you should just go for it with him. opposites attract. dont be afraid to try something youre afraid of. just have fun. ive dated guys who can be much more outgoing than i am, and honestly i have had the most fun with them (:

i thinkk you should just go for it withh him. ask him to hang out or do something together once he gets back. if your friend likes a lot of other guys, don't hold back for her. you should try just getting to know him, and let him get to know you. and just see what happens. (:
