i too have lost my best friend like almost 4 months ago and now i dont have any friend at all cause i started pushing everyone away just cause my best friend turned her back on me and i was too proud this whole time to ask her why or anything and it doesnt feel good loosing your best friend so you make sure pride shouldnt lead u in this just give her a little time not too much it will be okay

Trust me, your not going to lose her. I have Been in the exact situation before. And in a few days we were cool. So just wait a few days and you should be good

I know you might not want to hear this, but if she really was your best friend, she wouldn't be getting as upset as she is. She probably was just disappointed that you didn't want to just go alone but I completely get why you didn't (because it is pretty awkward to go with just another couple, you feel like a third wheel). Maybe give her a few days to cool off, and don't try and talk to her all the time, like give her some space but you can sometimes just smile or wave at her in the halls so she knows you still care. Then after she cools off, text her or ask to call her and tell her that you felt awkward and that you didn't want to be a third wheel and that you never had the intention to hurt her feelings. Honestly I think its silly for her to be getting so upset over something so small, but everyone has their own reasons for getting mad, so maybe try and see it from her point of view, like have her tell you why she is as upset as she is. Then maybe plan to go out and have a girls night once you guys work things out. Hope this helped! and you can always vent I'm always here :)
