Ten Reasons Why
Chapter Four
After that day which had practically changed my life forever,
you could say I was viewing life a bit differently.
For once in quite a while, I had something to be excited about; I was curious as to what Noah Montes had to offer.
Honestly, a part of me was expecting to be let down as I've always been in my life.
But the hopeful part of me waited in anticipation for what was to come,
actually believing that maybe, just maybe, this boy could change my perspective on life completely.
But I was used to being disappointed, so I wouldn't let myself feel too much hope just yet.
The next morning, I walked to school as usual.
And when I arrived at the front of that torturous building I'd like to think
was more like a prison than a school, I saw him.
He stood beside a silver BMW, looking all casual, calm, and model-like.
I'm not even kidding. He smirked at me, sauntering over to walk beside me.
Some people looked at us curiously, probably wondering what
little old me, Raina Mayers, was doing walking
with the school's hot troublemaker.
"Hey," He greeted with that husky voice of his. I smiled a bit.
"Shouldn't you be worried about your rep being ruined
walking with a nerd like me?"
He shrugged, wearing a lazy grin on his face. "Reputation's are so mainstream."
I laughed, but that soon died down as we headed towards the front doors,
where we would pass by them.
"What?" He asked, confused at my sudden change of mood.
I sighed. "You'll see."
