This is pretty much it. At their core, I'm pretty certain all (major) religions are about acceptance, forgiveness, and love. The message may have been muddled slightly by thousands of years being passed from hands to hands and whispered in different people's ears like a game of telephone, but the main ideas are still there and they are still kind.
Then doesn't that mean that your religious beliefs 'dictate' that you need to discriminate against someone? So that person, in turn, has 'permission' to think you're an a--hole. This statement can't really make sense, because it's a parody.
