Barbie
Chapter
2
The next morning was Saturday. I got to sleep-in a little, I woke
up at 9:30. I wasn’t all that hungry, so I decide to have
brunch at 10. I had some microwavable macaroni and cheese and
water. My mom was cleaning the house and doing the laundry.
Finally, at 11, she called my cousins. They gladly agreed, but
they wanted to wait a week. One week. One week to make myself
into who I wanted to be.
I should probably start with looks. I got
out an old notebook and wrote a list.
Looks:
Hair
Eyes
Skin
Make-up
Body
Clothes
Let’s start with hair. I had blonde
hair, I just needed to figure out which of Barbie’s
hairstyles to do. Bangs or no bangs? I figured I should go with
the bangs, they would frame my face well. Now, eyes. Barbie had
blue eyes, I on the other hand had stupid brown eyes. I figure I
could get contacts to change my eye color. My skin was a little
fair, but after tanning for a whole week, I’d be in good
shape. Make-up! Well, I don’t own a lot of it, and I never
tried putting it on, but that’s what the internet is for.
Ugh, body. I wasn’t fat, wasn’t skinny. I love food,
but I’m too lazy to do anything active. Oh well, I’ll
just move more. Yay! Clothes! My wardrobe is a little bland now,
but I could get some new clothes while I was in New Jersey
though. Now on to how Barbie acts.
Acts/Personality:
Good at everything
Always happy
A good friend
Smart
Nice
Well, I’m not good at everything,
but I can just highlight what I’m good at. Always happy,
well that seems easy enough, what do I have to be unhappy about?
A good friend. Darn, me and my social skills. I’m not out
going, but I can try to be. The easiest one, smart. I only had
one B throughout the whole school year. Oi, nice? How about
I’ll be nice, if your nice to me, I’ll be nice to
you? Yea, that’ll work. Now, I have a long week to
change.
