He’s on the football team, and they had Senior Night, for all the senior boys on that team. Of course, I went. It was tied 24-24. There wasn’t much time left on the clock. The final 37 seconds, our home team made a touchdown. The crowd went wild for a couple of minutes. Then the crowd went silent. He came to the middle of the field, along with several other guys. One by one, the guys pulled up their shirts, revealing letters. At the end of the line, he held a bouquet of flowers. The message resembled,”
Juliette Henderson, Be my girlfriend?”
Sweet? I think so.
