Agreed. I think that some people on Witty tend to glorify it. I never even thought of cutting before I made a Witty. And one day I was really sad, and the thought of it just came up. But I never did do it.

I totally agree. Before I joined witty, I never even thought about cutting. About 5 months later it's all I could think about. I'm not saying Witty is the reason why I started, it was a decision I made, but I definitely think that constantly seeing it or people constantly talking about it can put the idea into your head. If I'm ever struggling with something in my life, I want to go on Witty and vent about it and talk to people about it, but then I'm always scared to because I know I'm gonna see 1,000 quotes about cutting.

I don't know if you have ever cut or not, but it's not that easy. You hold it in you want to do it worse. Sometimes when you hold it in, people who know you so well, better than you do, notice something's wrong and they start to ask you questions and check your arms everyday. It's not so easy to hide it when people know somethings wrong.

I'm not talking about seeing it on someone's wrists, I'm talking about the quotes where people say things like I'm gonna cut tonight or something. It's ridiculous, if there's even the slightest chance that one person got the idea from cutting from quotes on Witty, isn't that too many? That's why I put this quote, I hate the fact that that's what these quotes could be doing.

It may trigger it but a lot could trigger it. Like the massacre in Conn. Today, it could cause the parents, the siblings, of the innocent children to want to hurt themselves.

Maybe, but surely if there are so many factors that contribute, we want to try and eliminate as many as possible?
