Nobody understood love fully until they had
fallen helplessly.
The way Zach and I met was unfortunate, nothing would have just
been automatically perfect and it gave me a sense of pride to be
able to say that we didn't give up even when things got
tuff.
“Baby,” Zach called.
“Come back to bed.”
“No,” I shook my head, a
smile spreading onto my face. “We can't be late for the
ultrasound!” I exclaimed. “It's the first
one.”
“I know, I know,” he
huffed. “I just wanted to cuddle.”
“We can cuddle later,” I
replied and grinned, excitedly. “I can't wait until we
get to see our baby.” Zach rolled out of bed, groaning
sexily.
“I can't wait either,
baby, what time is it? Do I have time for a
shower?”
“Yeah but make it
quick!” I told him as I shooed him into the
bathroom.
“Nu-uh, where's my good
morning kiss?” I rolled my eyes but went on my toes to kiss
him gently for a few moments before walking to do the bed. It had
been been 7 years since I was in high school and now, Zach and I
were expecting our first child. When we first found out, Zach was
so proud and told just about everyone. We got married 3 years ago
and they had been the best 3 years of my life.
Justin had a girlfriend of 3 years and Grace was still single. I
haven't spoken to Courtney since high school and it honestly
hadn't affected me.
In record timing, we were in the car and driving to the
Ultrasound. When we got there, we waited for the doctor to be
able to see us. I was bouncy in my seat. “Calm down,
Logan,” Zach chuckled.
I glared at him. “You didn't just consume like 5 litres
of water!” Zach kissed my forehead and I sighed, putting my
head onto his shoulder. Zachs hand was intertwined with mine and
around 20 minutes later we were called in.
“Logan Parker?”
Oh how I loved the sound of that.
I bounced into the room and got ready for my Ultrasound with the
nurse in the room. Zach sat next to me and grinned. The doctor
came in, a smile on his face and clapped. “Right, how are
you two?” he asked. Soon, he was putting the cold jelly
like substance on my stomach and then he showed us a monitor.
“This,” he pointed to the screen. “Is your
baby.” To most people, what was on that screen was a bunch
of spots and blobs but to me, it was my baby and I couldn't
help the silent tears that fell down my face. The doctor went on
to tell us about our babies health and both Zach and I left the
room with big grins on our face.
“This is so surreal,” I
murmured.
“Thank you so much,
baby,” Zach said as he wrapped his hand around my
waist.
“For what?”
“For being my
wife, for being understanding and
wonderful and now giving me a child.” He
smiled at me, sweetly. “I love you so
much.”
I was his and he was mine,
And
our love was infinite.

“It's
not that funny!” I exclaimed as my mum, Zach and my dad
laughed hysterically. They were laughing about me running after
the newest edition to the family, Cookie and falling in the pool.
Just two weeks ago I had graduated and just two weeks ago my
parents excepted Zach into the family.
“Mum, dad, this
is my boyfriend, Zach Parker.”
It felt like we met a century ago.
“Hurry up Logan,” Zach
chuckled, teasingly as I rolled my eyes and put my shoes on. He
was still laughing after seeing me fall in the pool.
As Zach and I walked out of the house, I asked, “Don't
you have any sympathy for your girlfriend?” I crossed my
arms over my chest and raised my eyebrows. Zach smiled, sweetly
and kissed me.
“I love you,” he told
me.
I sighed, “You cannot do that every time I'm mad at
you.” Zach and I arrived to the shops in no time and walked
around hand in hand. I had called him yesterday telling him I had
wanted to go to the shops and maybe watch a movie. He didn't
say no, of course, he was just as excited as I was about being
able to go out in public. Though, nobody had actually seen us
together. Firstly, we went and watched one of the movies that had
just came out and then I spotted a group of girls and guys I knew
from school.
“Oh my gosh! Mr Parker?”
A girl from our grade cried out and then she saw me.
“Logan?” I noticed her stare at our intertwined hands
and just smiled. “Guys,” she called her friends. I
wasn't exactly the closest with most of the girls but Rachel
and Jasmine were also with them. I felt so awkward at that
moment, I didn't think that it'd feel this way. They all
looked at our hands and said nothing.
“It's nice seeing you
guys...” I said, my voice trailing off.
“Yeah,” One of the girls
– Joe said. “Are you guys like together or
something?” She asked.
I nodded, biting my lip, “Yeah.”
Zach coughed, “Well I'm going to leave you to catch up
with your friends and go get a table and order some food. Nice
seeing you girls.” Zach kissed my lips softly and walked
off.
“Who would've
thought,” Jack, one of the guys there said. “I never
would've pinned you for a girl who would bang their
teacher.”
I just shrugged, “Guess you didn't know me that
well.”
“I think they make a cute
couple,” Rachel spoke. “I can tell he loves you. A
lot.”
“They do,” the other
girls agreed and we spoke a while longer before I walked off to
find Zach. I found Zach sitting at a table with some food in
front of him. I sat down opposite him and he handed me my food.
After we walked around the shopping centre for a while and then
went to Zachs apartment.
We had one of the music channels on and I was dancing around his
apartment singing, “But tonight I'm feeling 22!”
Zach sat on his couch, watching me with an amused grin on his
face. I walked over to him and straddled him.
“I love you so much,” he
breathed and kissed my lips. It was magic the way his lips
connected with mine.
“I love you too, Mr
Parker,” I said not being able to get rid of the silly
grin on my face.
“What's got you so
happy?” he asked, removing a strand on hair that fell onto
my face.
“Everything's just so
perfect,” I replied.
Zach gave me a questioning glance as I softly
chuckled.
To
think this started off with me thinking I'd ever be able to
leave Mr Parker.

The last few months of school flew by and soon,
I was graduating. Soon, Zach and I would be able to go out like a
normal couple.
I was so excited.
On the morning of my graduation, I was all giddy and my mum had
noticed. “What's got you so excited?”
“I'm graduating!” I
half lied. That wasn't a lie but it wasn't the total
truth. Zach and I had organised for him to meet my parents after
the graduation.
How could I possibly be so excited but so nervous at the same
time?
“Oh, well you better start
getting ready. Do you want me to do your hair?” she asked,
kindly and I nodded my head eagerly. My mum started doing my hair
and in 20 minutes she was finished.
“Can you do my make-up as
well?” I asked her, grinning sweetly.
“Of course baby,” she
murmured in deep thought as she started on my make-up. Soon I was
dressed in a red strapless dress that reached just above my knee.
My hair was done in a braid and my make-up with such simplicity
it was stunning. “Close your eyes,” she told me and I
closed my eyes. My mum placed something around my neck and I
opened them to see a gorgeous locket shaped necklace with
diamonds filling it. “I am so proud of you,” she told
me, as she hugged me. Tears filled my eyes as my mum softly cried
into my shoulder. “You've grown up so quickly, I
remember when you were just a baby who couldn't even
walk.”
“I love you so much,
Mum.”
“I love you too, baby, I love
you too.”
***
“And always remember,”
Courtney ended her speech. “It's not chance that
determines where you'll end up, it's destiny.” Soon
after, graduation caps were thrown in the air and laughter was
floating through the air.
“Finally!” Grace laughed
as she gave me a hug. “12 years of school for a
paper!”
“And I wouldn't change any
of it for the world,” I replied, honestly. After Grace and
I spoke, I went to go find my parents though I kept an eye out
for Zach.
“Congratulations!”
Justin shouted, engulfing me in a hug.
“Thank you,” I murmured
into his neck and then my mum kissed my cheek.
“Congratulations,
darling,” she said as my dad gave me a hug as well
murmuring a 'congratulations'. We spoke for a little
while until I spotted Zach and walked over to him, Justin by my
side.
“Hi baby,” Justin said
in a girly voice and Zach and I chuckled.
“Congratulations Logan!”
Zach said enthusiastically.
“Thanks,” I said,
softly.
“I want to kiss you so
bad,” he said quietly so I was the only one that heard
him.
“What's stopping
you?” I asked, seductively.
“The fact that my uncle keeps
looking at us.”
“Oh, I'm sorry,” I
muttered feeling bad about making him lie to his
uncle.
“Come on,
babe, smile.”
And I
did.

“Oh
my gosh, oh my gosh,” I muttered over and over
again.
“Calm down, Logan!”
Justin cried.
“I can't,” I
muttered. “So many things could go wrong.”
“You met Zachs parents
yesterday, right?” I nodded. “It's exactly like
that.”
“No it isn't!” To
sum yesterday up, it was a big success. His mum and dad loved me
or so I hoped. Around the house, there were heaps of photos of
the same girl. I'm assuming it was Ariella, she was stunning
with dark brown hair.
“I'll be with you the
whole time,” Justin told, kissing my forehead. I sighed,
nodding slowly. Zach couldn't exactly come with me because my
dad or my mum had no idea I was dating anyone – especially
my teacher.
“Lets get this over and done
with.” We were meeting my dads wife and their kid at a
restaurant. Yes, they had a child. When my mum told me I was more
than shocked. I have a 1 year old step-sister called Ali. His
wife, Stacy was only 25. We arrived at the restaurant and I
realised it was called Ella's.
My thoughts flickered to what Zach had once told me. 'My dad
also has a small restaurant called Ellas'.
Just my luck.
I groaned hoping not to see Zachs dad, Paul inside because that
would only cause trouble. Apparently I was out of luck because
Paul was right there, smiling. “Darling, hi!” he
exclaimed.
“Hi,” I
muttered.
“Hi Paul,”
He asked, “Can I get you a table?”
“No, someone is waiting for
us.”
“Okay, give me a call if you
need anything.” I spotted my dad and Justin put his hand
over my shoulder. In a baby seat was a little blonde girl and
next to her was her mother in a bright pink flowy dress. When my
dad saw us, he immediately got up, so did his wife.
“Logan and-and Justin? Wow,
you've grown.”
“Hi Robby,” Justin said,
politely.
“Um, um, this is my wife
– Stacy. Stacy this is Logan and Justin.” Stacy
smiled.
“Hi Logan, hi Justin, it's
a pleasure to meet you two.”
“Yeah...” my voice
trailed off.
“This is Ali,” my dad
pointed at the adorable one year old who was giggling at the
faces Justin was making.
“She is so cute,” I
grinned.
“She is,” my dad nodded.
“Now come on, lets order some food.” Justin and I sat
next to each other opposite Stacy and my dad as we
talked.
“So Logan, what are you think
of doing when you finish school?” Stacy asked.
“I'm not sure,” I
shrugged, honestly.
“Oh yeah and do you have a
boyfriend?”
“Yeah, yes I do,” I
smiled.

On Sunday, I'd be meeting my dads family and
I was so nervous already so on Saturday, I went to Zachs
apartment and we watched a movie. After, he graded some papers
and I helped. Time flew by when I was with Zach.
“I want to take you
somewhere,” Zach told me after we finished grading his year
9 papers.
“Where?” I asked,
smiling up at him.
“It's a
surprise!”
“Will I like this
surprise?”
Zach smirked, “Yes.”
“Okay, lets go!” Zach
got into his car first and a minute later I did, we had to be
careful nobody saw us because then everything would just go
wrong. We were driving for ten minutes and I sang along to the
music on the radio, ignoring Zachs chuckles.
“Where are we going?” I
asked him as he continued driving.
“We're going to meet my
family,” he grinned. My jaw dropped. “You
wouldn't have come any other way and this way you don't
need to be nervous about anything. I've told my parents
everything and they already love you. They're not going to
react the same way Blaze did.”
“No, when they meet me
they're going to hate me,” I muttered.
“They'll love you, trust
me.”
“Nope, you lied to me!”
I exclaimed. “Can't I meet them another time? Maybe one
time when I'm dressed more appropriately? Or when I've
rehearsed what I'm going to say in the mirror a million
times?”
“Too late, we're
here.” We had arrived in front of a grey, two story house
with heaps of colourful plants in the front. “There's
something I haven't told you...” he said, his voice
trailing off wearily.
“What is?” I
questioned.
“My sister,” he choked.
“She was taken... a year ago. She would be 19 today, we
don't know where she is and we've been told to assume the
worse. Please don't ask about her because her photos are
around the house... a lot.”
“Of course,” I nodded,
hesitantly. “You know you could've told me
earlier.”
“Yeah... I just prefer not to
talk about it.”
“What was- what's her
name?” I corrected myself.
“Ariella. We call her
Ella,” he smiled.
“That's a pretty
name,” I told him.
“Yeah... now c'mon, lets
go inside, knowing my mum she's probably staring at us from
inside.” I laughed dryly and he grabbed hold of my hand. I
knew about his family – everything except about his sister
but I understood why he just didn't tell people that. His mum
was a successful fashion designer and his father owned two small
diners. Z&B and Ella's. Both named after his
children.
Zach knocked on the front door and immediately, a woman in her
mid-forties opened the door, grinning.
“Logan!” She cried,
wrapping her arms around me.
Woah.

I suggest listening to 'I won't give up' by Jason Mraz while reading this
Love is a four letter word,
love is something that is illustrated so simply.
Some people think that when you find
that special person that nothing could go wrong, nothing could
break you apart but I don't think thats true. When you find
that special someone thinks will break you apart, things will
make you scream and things will make you smile but these things
just make us stronger.
Everything that Zach and I have gone through only shows how
strong we are, we will over come anything that is thrown our
way.
I never really understood the word love, I would ponder and
ponder but never had I thought that the person you fall in love
with is would become that special to you.
Quite honestly, I would give my left arm for Zach.
I was lying with him on his couch and had just finished telling
him what happened with my dad. We were sitting in comfortable
silence, we didn't need to say anything to enjoy this moment.
Our legs were tangled with each other and my head was on his
chest, his heart beat was soothing.
“You're amazing, you know
that?” I blushed.
“You're prettyvdamn amazing as well,” I told him.
His eyes met mine, they were enthralling in the most amazing way.
He didn't reply, he just smiled and kissed my
forehead.
“Tomorrow, at school, when I
put up two fingers look around wherever we are for something
written in green,” he told me.
“What?” I asked,
confused.
“Just do it,” he
demanded.
“You're so weird,” I
laughed.
“If I remember, a couple of
minutes ago you were telling me how amazing I am,” he
winked and kissed me.
I had never kissed anyone except Zach but I wondered would it
still feel this special? Would I be left breathless and with my
heart fluttering after each and every kiss? Would I feel the
sparks and fireworks?
I asked myself those questions, knowing the answer.
No.
***
I was sitting in Zachs class, we gave each other sly glances
occasionally. “I'm going to hand Jackeline a paper and
she's going to pass it back. I want everybody to write one
thing down, something that you're too scared to tell your
peers. You can write it anonymously, no one will know you wrote
it,” Zach told the class.
“Why are we doing this,
Sir?” Somebody from the back called out.
“Because,” Zach
shrugged, leaving me curious. He handed Jackeline a piece of
paper and she scribbled something on it, handing it back. Soon it
came to me and I immediately knew what I would write.
I love him in a way no one would
understand
I
looked up at Zach and smiled, he put two fingers up and I
remembered our conversation from when I was at this apartment. He
told me when we were in class and he put two fingers up to look
around and find anything written in a green pen. I looked around
but couldn't find anything and then my eyes flickered to the
paper. In green writing, right at the bottom, was written:
I won't give up on

“Woah,
where are you going? If you leave, Zach is going to hate
me,” Blaze said as I picked up my bag.
“This has nothing to do with
you,” I said as I walked past him. “Tell
Zach-”
“Tell me what?” I heard
Zach ask from the door.
“I need to go, my mum called
and said... um, that my dads at home,” I gulped.
“Are you sure you want to
go?” he asked, walking towards me.
“Yeah, I can't just leave
her.” I pecked Zach on the lips. “Bye, Bye
Blaze.”
“Bye,” I heard him
mutter.
“I'll walk you to your
car.”
“You're my teacher
remember, I'll text you later.” I walked to my car and
rushed home. My mum shouldn't have to go through this
alone.
Walking into the house, I was nervous, my palms were sweating and
my heart beating rapidly. I hadn't seen my so called father
in three years. I don't think anything could have prepared me
for meeting my father once again. I guess it was better this way,
this way I didn't need to over think all the possible
outcomes.
My dad looked the same, he didn't look as if he had aged, he
looked just as I remembered.
“Logan...” he murmured.
This moment was surreal.
“What are you doing
here?” I asked.
“I just wanted to speak to you
and your mother. I owe you both an explanation.”
“Yeah well you're three
years late,” I told him. I had no idea where my new found
confidence had came from but I was going to us it to my
advantage.
“I know,” he sighed.
“And I am so sorry. I want you in my life, you're my
daughter.”
“You lost the right to call me
that when you walked away.” My mum put her hand on my
shoulder and smiled.
“Robby, why don't you go
and take a seat in the lounge room. Logan and I will be in there
in just a second.” My dad nodded walked to the lounge
room.
“Logan, why are you acting
this way?” she hissed.
“Why aren't you mad? He
can't just waltz in here and think everything's going to
go back to how it is. He abandoned us!” I
exclaimed.
“I know, baby girl this is the
right thing. I know he left us but hes trying to make things
better again. You need a male figure in your
life.”
“I don't want him in my
life,” I told her.
“Please, for me?” My mum
begged. I nodded, regretfully and walked into the lounge room
where my dad was sitting on the single couch.
“Logan... I am so sorry.
Leaving you and your mum was the worse thing I have ever done. I
want to be in your life.” I nodded, not knowing what to
say. After my dad and I spoke for a while about why he had left
and his new wife, Vanessa and her children, he asked,
“Would you like to meet them?”
I looked at my mum and she smiled, this is for you mum.
“Yes, I would love
to,” I lied even though in all truth, the thought scared
me.

The light shined into the room, a room I
wasn't familiar with.
Zachs room.
His hand was draped around me and our legs tangled. He looked so
peaceful and innocent when he slept. Silently, I wondered why I
had spent so many mornings waking up without Zach by my side
because this was by far the best thing ever.
Last night, I hadvslept with
Zach.
I had lost myvvirginity to my
teacher and I didn't feel guilty about it one bit.
Zachs mobile rang, waking him up and he rubbed his eyes.
“Good morning, beautiful,” he said, his voice husky
from being asleep.
“Morning,” I smiled,
widely. His phone stopped ringing but a second later began again.
Groaning, Zach reached for it and answered it.
“Hello?” A moment later,
he continued, “You really had to call me for that. I was
sleeping.” He winked at me. “No you cannot come in, I
have somebody over.” Zach kissed my neck as he listened to
the person on the other end. “Yes, Blaze, if you don't
like that it beats me.” So he was talking to Blaze.
“Yes, you can come in. Just wait a couple of minutes,
I'll come and get the door,” he sighed. “
Bye.”
“What was that about?” I
asked.
“It was just Blaze, he's
waiting outside. I'm really sorry,” he
apologised.
“Why are you sorry? C'mon,
I'll make you some breakfast.” All I was wearing was
one of Zachs tops and I'm sure Blaze wouldn't appreciate
me wearing that in front of him.
“Do you want a pair of
boxers?”
“I'll just wear what I
wore yesterday,” I shrugged.
“Do you want to have a
shower?”
“Yes, please,” I smiled.
Zach showed me to his bathroom and gave me a towel. He leaned
against the door, smirking. “Go and open the door for your
brother!”
“I think he can wait,”
he told me, looking at me lustfully.
I giggled, “He can't.”
“I love you,” Zach said.
That was actually the first time Zach hasn't actually said
those three words to me and I blushed a dark shade of
red.
“I love you too,” I
replied. I locked the bathroom door when Zach left and when I had
finished I put my jeans from yesterday on but instead of my top,
I put Zachs top on. He had left me a top and I couldn't help
it. I wanted to wear his clothes. When Zach saw me, he had a
smile playing teasingly on his face.
“Blaze you remember Logan,
right?”
“Yes, how could I
forget,” Blaze smiled sweetly.
“Well I'm going to make
some pancakes, Blaze would you like anything?” my voice was
just like his.
“I'll
pass.”
“Okay.” I walked into
the kitchen and got out the pan and started making the pancakes.
I chatted with Zach while I made them but Blaze didn't talk
much. Zach left to go to the bathroom and I asked,
“What's your problem?”
“My problem is you. You're
going to send him to jail.”
“I love him,” I said,
through gritted teeth.
“Sure you do,” he said,
sarcastically. “At the end of this you're going to
realise that it was just a silly school girl crush and my brother
is going to end up with a broken heart.”
“Thats not true!” I
exclaimed as my phone began ringing. It was mum, I answered.
“Mum?”
“L-Logan,” she
stuttered, I could tell she had been crying. “Come home
now, your father is here.”

He pulled away from me and shook his head. I bit
my lip, looking away from him, my cheeks red from embarrassment.
He had just rejected me. I deserved it, though, I did. How silly
had I been for thinking he'd actually want to kiss me,
thinking he'd actually want to be with me again.
“How do I know?” he
asked, suddenly.
“Know what?” I
asked.
“Know that this isn't some
game to you.” My eyes flickered down to my hands and I
didn't reply. What was I supposed to reply with? “This
isn't a game to you, is it, Logan?” Zach asked after a
minute.
“Of course not!” I
exclaimed, loudly.
“Logan,” he begged.
“Please see where I'm coming from. I just had to
ask...”
“I'm sorry, of course you
did but Zach, please believe me when I say that nothing with you
was just about that bet. I fell for you and I guess I'm
paying the price. You deserve someone better, someone who
didn't use you.”
“You're wrong.” Zach
was so quiet I almost didn't hear him. I looked up from my
shoes and saw Zach staring at me tenderly, his expression soft.
“Can you do me a favour?”
“Anything.”
“Tell me what your feelings
are, what do you feel for me?”
“I'm in love with
you,” I told him, honestly. I was scared at how he'd
react. I wanted to run, runaway anywhere. I didn't like the
way he was looking at me at that moment. I had never been good at
reading people and I didn't even have a clue what Zach was
thinking right now. Suddenly, Zachs home phone started
ringing.
Ring ring.
Zach didn't even budge.
Ring ring ring.
He still didn't reach for the phone.
“Are you going to get
that?” I asked, gesturing towards the ringing phone.
Ring ring ring.
“No.” I gulped,
nervously. “Say it again,” he demanded.
“W-what? 'Are you going to
get that?'” I recited, confused. Zach broke out into an
amused smile and chuckled, quietly. “Not that,” he
bit his lip.
“Whats so funny?” I
groaned.
“I just wanted you to tell me
you love me,” he grinned. His grin matched the humongous
one on my lips.
“I love you,” I told
him.
“Good,” he
murmured.
“Good?”
“Yeah 'cause if you
didn't feel the same way as I felt, I wouldn't be able to
do this,” with that, he kissed
me.

For around half a minute, I waited outside
nervously. I kept asking myself why he wasn't answering the
door straight away like he usually does and then, he opened the
door.
There was no smile on his face, no smirk or no frown, his
expression was as hard as a brick. We stood there, opposite each
other for a few moments just staring, his eyes boring into mine
and then he spoke. “Come in.” I walked inside his
apartment and took a seat on the couch. He surprised me by coming
and sitting next to me. I didn't think he'd do that, I
opened my mouth to say something – anything but nothing
came out. Zach laughed unhumourously, “This is so screwed
up. I honestly have no idea what to think
anymore."
“Z-Zach,” I murmured and
was surprise when he didn't correct me for not using 'Mr
Parker'. “I owe you an apology. I am so sorry, I
didn't mean for any of this to happ-”
“Then what did you mean to
happen, Logan? Just enlighten me.”
“I just... I just wanted my
mum to not need to worry about money. This was 5 grand that I
could at least try to get, I didn't think I'd win and I
never thought Courtney was going to get hold of that
picture.”
“Well guess what she
did.”
“And I'm so sorry but you
won't need to worry about that now.”
“What if she had got the photo
that you could see both of us clearly? What would happen
then.”
“I don't want to think of
that, she didn't and its over.”
“That might be over but we
aren't. We still have lots of things to talk about.”
When he said, that might be over but we aren't,
my heart fluttered and my cheeks burnt but I knew he
didn't mean it in the way I wanted it to.
“I'll answer any questions
you want,” I told him.
Simply, he asked, “Why?”
“I've told you how my dad
left my mum and I a couple of years ago and I've always told
you that a couple of months ago we moved in with my Aunt Cassidy
because the council took the house away from us. Since then,
I've been trying to help my mum get any extra money. I've
sent my mum money anonymously with money my dad sent me and money
from my car. To you, five grand might be nothing but to me, thats
a lot of money.” I reached into my bag, picking out a
bundle of money.
Five thousand dollars.
“Whats that?” he
asked.
“Thats the money Courtney gave
to me, I don't want it. You can have it,” I replied,
putting the money on the table. “That money is nothing but
filth to me now. It may have taken me a while to realise how
horrible I was using you like that. I can't give that money
to my mum.”
Zach sighed, “I don't want that money. Give it to your
mother.”
“No,” I said,
firmly.
“Give it back to Courtney
then,” he said. “I don't care what you do with
the money, I don't want it though.” I didn't say
anything but I didn't take the money. Zach leant in slightly
and I hoped that he kissed me. I leant up and put my lips on his,
my eyes fluttered open for a split second to see his wide
open.
He
wouldn't kiss me back.
