Chapter 19
Scarlet Marie's POV


"Here's your room" said Jake, while pointing to a huge blue room.
"Thanks" I said.
"Your kinda cute" Jake said.
I blushed.
"Ohhhhhh Jake and Scarlet sittin' in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G...." sang Mike.
I scolded him, and told him to go put his stuff on a bed.
My phone started vibrating.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Scarlet. I'm in jail. The police caught me driving. Please come bail me out" I heard Liam
say.
"Your what?" I screamed.
"I'm in jail! Come bail me out!" Liam said louder and angrier.
"How much?" I asked.
"$750" he said.
"I-I don't have the m-"
"Just try Scarlet" Liam said.
"Time's up!" I heard a man say from the background.
All of the sudden there was a beeping sound coming from the phone.
I hung up.
"What's wrong?" asked Jake.
"Uh, my friend Liam is in jail and he need's me to bail him out" I said.
"You mean Liam Duke?" Jake asked.
"Yeah. Why?" I said.
"We're like best friends. How much does he need?" Jake asked me.
"$750" I said.
"Lemme get the money and we'll go" he said while running towards a giant door.
10 minutes later we were in his BMW going towards the jail.
"Scarwet, where are we going?" Mike asked.
"We're going to go get Liam" I told him.
I sat there thinking about how Liam could've even had a car!
My phone vibrated.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Scarlet! Where are you? Is Mike with you?" I heard my mother yell.
"Uh, I-I think y-you've got the wrong number" I said in a british accent.
"Oh, sorry miss" my mother said.
I hung up.
My phone vibrated again.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Scarlet is it you?" my mother asked.
"Sorry but I think you have the wrong number" I said, faking a british accent.
I hung up before she could say anything else.
"What's up with the british accent?" Jake asked.
" Uh, um , nothing" I replied quickly.
We pulled into the parking lot at the jail.
I was thinking about how Liam had been driving without a lisence.
"Jake, how old are you?" I asked him.
"15. Why?" he said.
Before I could answer his questions a police officer went up to Jake's window and tapped.
I knew this wasn't going to turn out well because Jake was famous and most people knew how old he was...

Daddy Why D'you Do It

Chapter 18

Liam's POV

"I-I, um," I stuterred.
The cop raised an eyebrow, "Liscense, sir?"
"Well, um, you see, I just got my liscense like, last month, and I-I don't really remember to bring it everywhere," I lied.
"Oh, well, do you think you could call someone at home who might be able to bring it?" The cop asked, "I mean, normally a police officer shouldn't do this, but I know it's hard to remember your liscense, especially when you first got it."
I smiled, "Thank you, sir. But, unfortunately, no one's home."
"Well, I guess I could let you off the hook. Just this once."
"T-thank you, sir," I said gratefully.
He smiled at me, "But do you think that I could have you're name so I know next time that I can't let you off the hook?"
"Oh, Liam Duke."
The cop started writing it down, but then he suddenly looked at me, "A-are you George Duke's son?"
I nodded.
Suddenly the cop looked mad, "Well, you see, he was talking to me about how his only son was turning 16 soon, and getting his liscense."
Uh-oh
"I-I," I couldn't think of anything to say.
"Listen kid, we have a problem." 

Scarlet's POV
Mike and I ran through the rain.
"Why did we haded to go?" Mike asked for the hundredth time.
I looked at him, "Mike, we have to. Please, I'll explain later."
He sighed.
I finally saw it.
Jake Mulk's house.
Jake Mulk's family was rich and so he had a second home that was all his.
The thing was, he rented out rooms there to the kids at our school.
A lot of kids stayed there apparently.
I rang the doorbell and Jake answered it.
He had light brown hair and blue eyes that made a million girls faint.
It was pathetic.
"I need a room," I said firmly, holding Mike's hand.
Jake looked between Mike and me and said, "C'mon in."
I saw a couple of kids my age sitting on the couch in the living room.
Jake just stood in the entry hall and said, "Why do you need a room?"
"My dad's girlfriend is a... well you know," I said bitterly, looking down at a nodding Mike.
He smiled at me, "So you ran away?"
I nodded impatiently, "Yes. Now can I have a room or not?"
"Sure, I'm Jake, by the way."
"Scarlet, and this is Mike."
Jake smiled at Mike.
"How much is the rent?" I asked.
"Fify bucks a week."
I nodded. I had been saving my money since I was twelve, so I was sure I had enough.
He held out his hand, "Welcome to your new home."
I liked the sound of that.
I looked at Mike who was grinning.
I smiled and shook Jake's hand.

It's been a week, and me and Chad have been getting really close.
We've already shared our life stories together and I got to really know him.
Of course, me and him are just "friends".
Luckily, tonight is one of the biggest parties of the entire summer.
This popular snob at my school, Karen, whose house is a little smaller than mine has a huge party halfway through the summer.
I got ready with the girls around 4 since the party started promptly at 6.
I dyed the tips of my hair red and Audrey dyed her tips aqua. Miranda refused to, and just died her hair darker.
I put on a little studded top that ended just under my boobs, and put on a mini skirt that ended at the bottom of my butt; exposing my toned, tanned, and flat stomach.
I only put mascara and blush on but dabbed light lipgloss onto my pouty lips.
I put high heels on and grabbed a black clutch.
Audrey wore a short white top as well and a floral pencil skirt with a pearl ring and black heels. 
Miranda wore an Aztec top and black skirt and a black bracelet.
I straightened my long hair and let it fall down my back.
Audrey put her hair in a bun that looked messy yet neat while Miranda braided hers into a bun.
I threw my iPhone into my bag and logged off of Facebook and Tumblr.
I had a +1 so I invited Chad - but just as friends, though.
I pulled up at his house, with the girls sitting in the back so he could get shotgun.
"Yoooooooo!" He screamed as he hopped over the door and plopped into the seat.
"You know I hate when you do that!" I slapped his leg playfully.
"Yes, master," he bowed his head to me as a joke, so I laughed and went along with it.
"Lookin fresh to death, bro!" Miranda screamed from the back, why is she bothering me so much lately?
I saw Chad's face drop a little at the lack of humor.
I started driving to Karen's house and when we pulled up I got out for valet.
"I'm only gonna break break your break break your heart..."
Taio Cruz was blaring through the house as we walked inside.
"Hiii!" Karen squealed; I smiled and gave her a fake hug.
I turned around to ask Miranda something but she was gone already.
I didn't know where she went but I knew one thing; this party was going to take such an unexpected turn that I would've never guessed.

Liam's POV
"Hi! How can I help you?" squeaked the lady at the cashier.
"I'd like 1 large pizza. One half with bacon and pepporoni and the other half
with...um, just cheese" I told her.
She tossed her light brown hair behind her shoulder and ran into the back to
tell them my order.
I took a seat by the door and waited.
20 minutes later my pizza was ready.
I payed and left.
While I was driving, I saw a girl that looked like Scarlet and a little boy.
I kept driving though, because it was raining so I couldn't really say it was
them.
When I got home I went inside and put the pizza on the kitchen table.
"Scarlet. Mike. Pizza's here!" I yelled.
No answer.
"Guys, I brought the pizza" I yelled agian.
Still no answer.
I ran up the stairs and into my room.
No Scarlet. No Mike.
I looked around my room to see if their stuff was there, but it wasn't.
On my desk I saw a note that said my name.
I opened it.
Liam I can't stay here.
I have to go somewhere else.
Don't look for me.
Don't look for Mike.
Forget about me.
Bye.
I threw the note on the ground and ran to my car.
I sped to the place where I saw Scarlet and Mike.
A cop was behind me.
He put his lights on and I could see he wanted me to pull over.
I pulled over.
He walked out and tapped on my window.
I opened it.
"Sir, you were speeding. I need to give you a ticket. Please give me your driver's lisence" the cop said.
The problem was, I was 15 and I didn't have a driver's liscence...
