He was the first boy to ever buy me flowers.

It was adorable.

He told me he had to tell me something on Saturday night.. But I had to wait until Sunday night for him to tell me, because he wanted to do it in person.

This was shortly after we had told each other how we felt.

I was so scared, because he had me drinking when he told me how he felt, he was going to tell me he didn't mean it.

Come Sunday night, I got a text that told me to come outside to his car.

When I got there, he gave me the flowers and asked me to be his Valentine.

He gave me pretty purple carnations with baby's breath and a mushy card.

It made me smile so big. No one had ever done anything like that for me..ever.

I've known him for years.
      I was in the third grade, he was in the first grade.
          We were just kids.
              He was just my friends little brother.
                  For two years now we've had feelings for each other. 
              He had other girlfriends.
          I had other boyfriends.
      But things weren't how they were supposed to be..
