Jen's POV
"During the shoot for the music video I was talking about you. A lot. And I guess they thought you were my girlfriend." I sighed and said "It's been a week and you didn't try to clear that with the media?"
His hands moved up my arms and to my cheeks. "W-what're you doing?" I blushed as I felt his breath on my lips and he whispered "I wanted to make it real." Then his lips touched mine. 'Baby you're a freakin' firework!' I yelled in my mind. He pulled away and I think he was frowning "Why didn't you kiss back?" I was silent, sure I liked him but... "I knew it.." he mumbled "You don't like me.." he removed his arms and turned to walked out but I grabbed his wrist. "W-Wait! I-I do like you!" I blurted out. It was silent for a moment and the lights came on, the boys were there. Liam, Niall, Harry and Zayn. I blushed and let go of Louis' hand.
"What the hell Louis! This is so embarassing!" I ran out of the room with a blush covering my face and to the x-factor house.
-Third person-
Louis stood there awkwardly in the silence until Harry said "Dude, you like her. Don't let her run away!" Louis sighed "Alright." He chased after her.
-Back to Jen's POV-
I jumped onto my bed and stuffed my face into the pillows. I wanted to smile and squeal like a little school girl getting her first kiss. But instead, I cried. How was this relationship to work? And how could he embarrass me like that in front of his friends?!
There was a knock on my door so I sniffled and wiped my eyes "Come in." I said.
"I'm sorry..." He said as he sat down next to me. I looked him in the eyes and he wiped my tears, "We can make it work. I promise." I smiled, "I... guess we can try."
"Good. I wasn't leaving until you said yes."

Jen's POV
"What!? Girlfriend? Who said I was his girlfriend?!" I yelled back.
"Louis himself!" He said.
I blushed "W-what...? I only met him a few hours ago!" Nicole grabbed my hand and we ran out of Mcdonalds with the papparazzi chasing us. When we got to the x-factor house I locked the door behind me. "Nikki, you can let go now.." I said. She jumped and quickly let go of my hand "S-sorry.." I smiled "It's okay, thanks for helping me. I owe you one." She blushed a little "I-it's really no big deal."
Nicole headed to bed and I grabbed my phone and called Louis. I had to know what was up.
"Hello!" He answered cheerfully.
"Hi, it's Jen." I said seriously.
"Ohhh, eh, how are you?"
"What the hell is the paparrazzi talking about? I-I'm not your g-girlfriend." There was a long sigh.
"Jen. Can we talk about this in person?"
I didn't know what to say so I sighed "Fine. When?"
"I'll surprise you!" Then he hung up. I sighed and placed my phone on the charger and fell asleep in my bed next to Britt.
-Next week during the show-
Nicole was going on first. "Wish me luck Jen, Britt!" Britt and I hugged her "Break a leg, Nikki!" I said and she walked on stage with confidence. She was singing "Chasing Pavements" by Adele. Her voice was beautiful as usual.
After her song the judges smiled, even Simon. "Wonderful." He said. Nicole grinned and walked off stage, I gave her a big hug and walked on stage with Britt.
"Hello ladies, how have you been?" Sharon asked.
"Wonderful." Britt answered.
"Dandy." I replied.
The music to our song came on and I gulpped, please let me do good! It was "Firework" by Katy Perry.
"Do you ever feel like a plastic bag, drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?" Britt started. "Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin, like a house of cards one blow from caving in?" She continued. "Do you ever feel, already buried deep? Six feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing. Do you know that there's still a chance for you, cause there's a spark in you?"
"You just gotta ignite the light, and let it shine. Just own the night like the fourth of July! Cause baby you're a firework, come on show 'em what your worth! Make 'em go oh, oh, oh. As you shoot across the sky-y-y!" I sang.
"Baby, you're a firework! Come on let your colors burst! Make 'em go, oh, oh, oh! You're gonna leave 'em fallin' do-ow-own!" Britt continued.
We continued the song and when we finished the judges smiled and said "Beautifully done girls." I smiled and skipped off the stage with Britt.
"Jen, Louis' here." Nicole said.

Jen's POV
"WHAT THE HELL?" I yelled. Bree laughed and pulled me into a hug "Does Jenny-kins have a crushie wushie?" I glared and hit her in the face with a pillow "OW!" She grabbed a pillow and said "You. Are. Going. To. Get. IT." She chased me around the room and tackled me to the ground. Then she hit me with a pillow over and over again. But it's Britt. So it didn't hurt, I giggled and pushed her off.
I didn't realize it but the other contestants were watching us and laughing. I blushed and stood up while Britt giggled along with them. I looked over and saw a girl with long curly red hair, she was reading a comic book. I smiled and walked over to her.
"H-Hi." I greeted.
"... Hello." She looked up at me shyly.
We're both shy!
"What comic book is that?"
"I-It's Marvel.." she said as she slightly closed it, i sat down next to her and said "Do you have any more? I love Marvel."
"Yo-You read comics?" She asked in disbelief.
"Duh-haha- what kind of nerd would I be if I didn't like me some Marvel?"
She smiled, it was a really pretty smile, "Here." She tossed me one from her book bag and we started reading together, it's funny, but as we read, we learned a lot about each other.
"What's your name? I'm Jenna."
"I'm Nicole." She smiled at me.
"Cats or dogs?" I asked.
"Erm, both. Water or soda?"
"Uh, water. But I like tea too. Warm colors or cold colors?"
"Cold. I like baby blue -haha- Winter or Summer?"
"Winter. My birthday is in December."
"Woah, me too!" She said with a big smile. I giggled and said "Sounds like we have a lot in common." She closed her Marvel comic and said "It's kind of late, want to head out and get some dinner?"
"Sure, let me grab my glasses."
My glasses were black and really big, kinda like 3D glasses, or hipster.. i don't know. Nicole and I walked out of the house making sure we didn't wake anyone up and then we headed to Mcdonalds because it's cheap and it was closer.
"So," Nicole started "Do you have a crush on Louis?" I coughed "Shhh! We're walking on the streets Nikki! What if the paparrazzi were out?" I yelled in a whisper. She rolled her eyes and said "I'll take that as a yes, are you going to text him or call him any time soon?" I sighed and looked at my hand.
"I guess."
She smirked "Might wanna hurry before someone else catches his eye." I grumbled and she giggled.
We walked into Mcdonalds and ordered two vanilla milkshakes, two large fries and a twenty piece chicken nugget thing. We sat down at a table and began eating.
"So," I started after taking a bite of one of the chicken nuggets. "Do you, like anyone?" I asked.
"Err, I, ehh, I should probably tell you, I'm, er, a lesbian." She confessed as she looked away and took a long sip of the milkshake. I blinked and said "So? I don't care about stuff like that, is there anyone you like?"she looked up, almost in shock and smiled "Yes, I do.. but she.. there's no way she'd ever like me."
"Well why not?" I asked.
"She's not into girls."
I sighed and said "Oh, but, can't you confess to her anyway?" She smiled again "I guess I could." We continued eating and then there was a flash, Nicole and I turned around and saw the papparazzi. They were flashing photo's like crazy, and I have no idea why, we aren't even famous!
"What's it like being Louis Tomlinson's girlfriend?" One of them shouted.

My dear God. Louis Tomlinson is standing here. Right here. Right in front of me. I'm going to die. I knew I was blushing like an idiot. But Louis didn't seem to mind. Louis grabbed my hand which only made me blush more, and we walked off stage.
Harry and the other's were getting to know Britt, so I walked outside of the x-factor house onto the balcony. Britt was always the more, outgoing type. I was shy and normally in the background, that's why people liked her more.
I propped my head up and set my elbows on the balcony. A shooting star went by "I wish I was more like Britt..."
I felt some arms wrap around my waist and I quickly turned around. It was Louis "Why would you wish for that?" I sighed and pulled his arms off of me "You wouldn't understand.." He rolled his eyes and said "Duh, you haven't told me anything, how could I understand?"
I sighed and sat down on the porch swing and he sat next to me. "Britt's more, outgoing and charming and she's definitely more beautiful then me.. everyone loves her. I'm an outcast, and to tell you the truth, the only reason I did this was because I wanted people to notice me.."
"Well, I've noticed you." Louis said as he grinned at me.
"Shut up..." I said as I blushed and looked away.
"That's what makes you beautiful." He said with a wink. I turned my head and said "What do you mean?" He smiled and stood up, "Well, the way you blush and look away, the way you're modest. It's really cute." I blushed and walked over to him. "Y'know, I guess.. being me is okay." Louis smirked and turned to face me "Being you, is more than okay," I tilted my head in a confused way and he chuckled.
"It's everything about you, you, you." He sang as he wrote his number on my hand and dragged me inside. I couldn't think straight at all. He was flirting? I think. I've never had a boyfriend so I wouldn't know.
"Lou! We have to leave soon." Harry called.
Louis frowned "But Harryyyy! Jen is so cooool!" He said as he cuddled me. I blushed and tried pushing him off. Bree giggled and I shot her an ice cold glare.
"Lou, seriously, we have to shoot a music video tomorrow." Liam said.
Louis groaned "Fine," he looked back at me still in his arms and we were kind of, lost in the moment, and he kissed my forehead, "Call me shorty!" He winked and walked out of the room with the rest of the boys.

Jenna and I were standing on the side of the stage watching the current performers on the x-factor. She was pretty amazing. Her voice, was something beautiful. I just hope Jen and I pass too.
"Next!" Simon called and we shuffled on stage. "Hello, Ladies."
"Hello," I replied.
"What are your names?" He asked us with a bored expression.
"I'm Jenna," she started.
"And I'm Brittney," I finished.
"What will you two be singing?" Simon sighed.
"One Thing.." we said in unison.
There was a noise from the side of the stage and a mumble "One of our songs!" It sounded like. Wait 'our'? Is... One Direction here?? I didn't have time to think because the song started.
"I've tried playin' it cool..." Jenna started. "But when I'm lookin' at you." She pointed to me. "I can't ever be brave, Cause you make my heart race."
"Shot me out of the sky..." I started and someone laughed. "You're my kryptonite, you keep makin' me weak. Yeah. Frozen and can't breathe."
"Something's gotta give now. Cause I'm dying just to make you see, that I need you here with me now. 'Cause you've got that one thing." We said in unison.
"So get out, get out, get out of my head!" Jen said.
"And fall into my arms instead." I continued.
"I don't, I don't, don't know what it is, but I need that One Thing." Jen said.
