I've done it before. It's only for show and to amaze the people who are gullible enough to believe it works. The thing that happened to your pastor's friend was probably just a tragic coincidence. They don't really work. It's like the bloody mary mirror thing (I haven't tried that one, though) just a stupid trick to do at parties to try and scare people.

Please don't! I used to feel the exact same way (I'm 13) but you shouldn't commit suicide. Those people who are judging you are the ones doing it for attention. They have no clue what you're going through so they don't have the right to say anything. Please, whatever you do, dont kill yourself. Find something you love to do ( for me it was learning guitar) find something that gives you a reason to live. I promise things do get better. :)

I totally agree with this. I would also include bands like Dashboard Confesssional and Death Cab For Cutie. People who challenge music in some way are the people who should be considered musical genuises.

I'm the same way. I don't listen to popular music, I listen to mostly alternative and I also dress and talk a lot differently than what is normal for people my age. I hate that you can't be yourself without people thinking you are weird and judging you for it.
