Chapter 3 

We were on our way to third period when i 
remembered that Marissa was in this class, and i really liked 
Sean.
All during second period he made me laugh so hard.
We got caught writing notes, 
and we had to read them to the teacher after school.
But i was happy about that,
because it meant i was going to see him again after school.
"Carson! Sean! Hey!" 
Marissa's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Heey!" i smiled back.
Sean waved, as Marissa asked, "How did you two meet?"
Sean explained, "We have almost every class together"
"Oh. Yay" Marissa seemed kind of angry.
But i just forgot about it, and listened to the teacher.
Lunch finally came.
And i found Marissa at a table with Sean and three
other girls, and two other guys.
Marissa waved me over and introduced me to everyone.
There was Megan, a tall brunette with brown eyes.
And Jordan, she was medium height with brown hair and green eyes.
The last girl was Mackenzie, she was shirt and had unnaturally black hair, and brown eyes.
The guys were, Colin, medium height, light hair, and blue eyes.
Mackenzie looked like she was all over him.
The next guy was Eric, he was cute, he had dark hair
and tan skin with the prettiest blue eyes.
i decided to sit down next to him.
He smiled and said hi.
After lunch i found out that Eric was in my last three classes.
Sean, Eric, Jordan and i all had seventh period together, so we walked
together.
Jordan and Sean seemed into eachother, so i talked to Eric.
The rest of the day dragged on.
Eric asked me to hangout, and i was so excited,
 until i rememebered i had to go after school with Sean. I asked him
if he could hang out tomorrow and he
said he would text me after football practice.
I met up with Sean and we went to detention, we were the only kids there.
The teacher left and Sean desribed his friends to me,
"I play lacrosse and Eric and Colin play football. Marissa, Megan, Jordan, and Mackenzie
are cheerleaders. Jordan also plays soccer and basketball"
When he talked about Jordan
his face lit up, and i knew that he liked her.
"Mackenzie and Colin have this thing where they hookup all the time,
fight, then makeout some more.
They have never broken up though, but when they do...
the whole school we be crazy"
I didn't really understand this school but i went along with it.
"Also i should warn you, Marissa always gets what she wants, and i think she wants
Eric"
My heart dropped.
I could never compete with Marissa! She was a barbie doll!
"Oh, that's cool" i managed to choke out.
I felt like i was about to cry.
Sean seemed to notice and he pulled me in for a hug.
His body was so warm.
i cried into his shirt for the rest of detention, and then he
walked me home.
I felt like i could tell him anything.
"Thanks" i smiled
He smiled back and said, "I like you alot better then Marissa,
so I'm going to make sure that she doesn't
get Eric"
Oh my god! He was perfect. His kindness made me cry more.
After i finally stopped i looked up and said,
"i know you like Jordan"
He blushed, hard.
And tried to deny it. But i could see right through him.
He finally gave up and told me how
he really liked her.
"I'm going to help you get Jordan" i promised

Love is Overrated
Chapter 2 

I walked into school, and got my schedule, locker, and lock.
i put my books away and went off to first period.
When i walked in the teacher introduced me to the class, 
it was really awkward.
But i sat down next to a  girl who was extremly pretty!
She had beach blond hair, tan skin, sparkly blue eyes, and freckles
on the bridge of her nose.
She was wearing a bright pink bandea bra under a loose white tank top
with light blue shirts and pink flip flops.
She smiled and introduced herself.
"Hi! I'm Marissa!"
I smiled back and said, "Hi, I'm Carson. I'm new here."
"That's what i've heard! Do you wanna sit with me and my friends at lunch?"
I smiled back and nodded.
Wow. 
It's only first period, and i already know
where i am sitting at lunch.
Marissa wrote her cell phone number on a piece of paper 
and told me to text her after school.
We compared schedules,
and we had first and third period together.
The bell rang and she hugged me goodbye.
i walked to second period, and on the way there i ran into something
really hard.
i looked up and say a gorgeous guy standing in front of me.
i blushed and managed to sqeack out, "Oh, sorry"
He looked up and down my body and smiled.
"it's alright. What's your name?" he asked
"Carson" i blushed even harder.
"My names Sean" he smiled.
He asked for my schedule, and we had every period together
except first and eigtht.
We walked together and i could help but stare at him.
He had perfect dark brown hair, with blue eyes, and
he was  pretty pale.
i thought that was kind of wierd, since we were in California.
But i decided i liked it,
because it made him different.

Love is Overrated
Chapter 1
My name is Carson. I am 15 years old. 
I have hazel eyes and staight dirty blond hair.
I am about to finish my sophmore year of highschool.
we have about two months left until summer break, and i can't wait
to get out of that hell hole.
I have no friends at my school.
Everyone thinks I'm a freak, because my sister, Maggie, got pregnant at age 14.
Things aren't so bad though, because as soon as i finish this year of school
we move to California.
I can't wait to move. It's a chance to start over.
And I want that more than anything.
The reason we are moving is because my dad got a new job.
He is a lawyer, so you could say we are pretty rich.
I think he feels bad for me, ever since my mother died
he kind of neglected me and my sister.
He just threw himself into work, and let us buy anything we wanted.

I get out of the shower and decide to let my hair air dry for school.
I throw on a gray v-neck from hollister and a dark pair of shorts.
I slide on some flip flops
and scarf down my breakfast.
Before I go to school i brush my teeth and brush my hair, which has mostly dried.
I kissed my sister,
who is staying home with her baby while her
boyfriend 'tries to get an education' so he can provide for his family.
I personally think that he just wants to get away from my sister and their whiny baby.
I would, too.
As I walk to school i trip on a raised piece of sidewalk.
i get up hoping no one saw and continued walking.
The days drag on and nothing interesting happens.
