I'm fifteen, a sophomore, and taken.
I dance 9-10 hours a week, and work
as a babysitter. My favorite season is
fall, but summer is great. I love the
beach, and hot guys. I'm not happy
with the way I look, or act. I love to
smile and laugh. I really do think that
penguins are the most adorable thing
ever. My little sister is my everything,
and Ed Sheeran is a big part of my life.
I'm Lexis Marie, & you are ?

It all Started in Fall

Prologue

I drove back in to my old town.
College life was fun, but I was glad to be home.
I pulled in to my house’s driveway, and saw that nothing had changed since I left.
I got out of my car, and walked the short distance to the door.
I knocked once, then let myself in.
“Hello,” I called out. “I’m home.”
I heard someone drop something in the kitchen, and I hurried in to see if something was wrong.
“Addie, baby! Give your mom a hug.”
My moms hair was turning slightly gray, but I still thought she looked great for a thirty five year old.
I gave her a big hug, and kissed her cheek.
“Hey, Mom. How have you been?” I grabbed an apple off the counter.
“Oh goodness. I haven’t had anything to do since you’ve been gone. Finally glad you’re back.”
I smiled, and hugged my mom once more before sitting down in the chair across from where she was cooking.
I grabbed my phone from my pocket, and started to text my best friend, Alice.

Me: Hey, gorgeous! Want to hang out later? Maybe movies?
Alice: I can’t. We’re having a get together party at the beach, join?
Me: Of course. What time?
Alice: 5 o’clock. Dress nice, girlyy ;)

Lucky for my little town in California, it was always warm.
Even in the middle of fall.
I put away my phone after checking the time.
It was 3:00.
I left the kitchen, and walked up into my room.
I saw that nothing had changed here either, and I was relieved.
I walked to my dresser and picked out a cute outfit.
I know this won’t compare to any college party I’ve been to, but I know for a fact it won’t be a let down.

Hint: I put the outfit together with a black belt, slipped on some sandals, and began heading out towards the door.
