she fell asleep that night ;
curled up on her bed, alone. her sheets are kicked everywhere; there are tissues strewn across the floor. clutched to her chest is a book, the notebook to the exact. dove chocolate wrappers decorate her bedspread & her phone is off near the bottom of her bed. she’s wearing her favorite pj’s, the fuzzy warm ones decorated with sheep. her hair is a mess and her mascara is almost clean off her face by now. she’s dreaming. she’s dreaming that she didn’t wake up today, the worst day of her life when her world came down upon her. in her dream.. her parents ? still together. her best friend ? still supporting her. her boyfriend ? still loving her. her confidence ? still intact. one day changed this girl’s whole life; but it hasn’t killed her yet. and what doesn’t kill her, she’s learned, can only make her that much stronger. she’s a smart girl. she will figure it out and stay strong when nothing is right and everything is wrong _________________________________________</3
