I dunno if you were here back when Witty had rates, but the reason it doesn't have rates any more and has this favorite system, is because people couldn't stop making "Rate high if ...!"
And now people are making "Fav if ...!", so what do you suppose will happen if people can't stop making these? Really, this isn't a poll site, it's a site for quotes that can go onto a profile. I don't know anybody who would put "Favorite if!" on their profile.
