- Mysterious invisibilities Part 7 I finally got back home. I snuck in and went right up to my room. I couldn’t fall asleep. It took me 3 hours till I was over tired and passed out of exhaustion. I kept crying. All night long. Even while I was asleep, I could feel the tears slip out of my eyes and down my cheek. I saw myself crying in my dream. I saw myself stopping Taylor’s mom, sending her to jail. Anywhere, far away from Taylor… …finally I woke up. I rushed to get ready. I looked out the window to see if Taylor was getting ready to go to school. Our windows are right across from each other so we can talk late at night and see each other. She wasn’t. She was laying in bed still. I guess she wasn’t coming to school like she said she wasn’t but I was still hoping. I was hoping she would eventually show up. Before I knew it the bus came. I ran outside to catch it. I texted all the girls. I told them to meet me at our spot right away! I texted them a code to. We made up codes to say how important it was for us to be there. This was a code black and white. It meant one of us is in trouble and pain. We picked that for it because whenever one of us was in pain, we all were. It made the world seem black and white with no color or escape. I got to school and saw Rebecca and carol running as fast as they could to portable 8. Me and Rachel got off the bus and ran to. We saw everyone there and ran over. Rachel didn’t know what was going on. I needed to tell them all together. They all started yelling at me. “what happened to Taylor!?!” they all yelled to me at once. I didn’t tell them it was Taylor but were all such good friends we can sense who it is. They knew it was her even before we all got there. “is she going to come to school?” heather asked. “I don’t think so.” I said waiting for them to calm down. “well WHAT HAPPENED!” carol screamed. “you guys have to promise not to say anything to a single person. Swear on Taylors honor.” I said. We always would swear on who ever was in troubles honor. To make it official of how serious it was. “I swear!” we all said at once. “Taylor…her mom…her mom beats her. Real bad to.” it was more heartbreaking to say it out loud then to think of it. Tears started pouring. Everyone was in shock. No one asked questions though. We all just huddled around each other and cried. Finally I was able to say something. “we have to save her. We have to stop this. I don’t know how long this has been happening to her but its probably been for a long time. Think about all the times she’s gotten bruises and has broken something. It was all because of her mom!…” I started going off into a furies but determined tone. “…but most off all we have to keep this a secret.” Then we all shook hands and swore on her honor again to keep it a secret. Little did any of us know that behind the portable was Ashley, listening to our entire conversation.

When we all got to the portable we knew we would be late but didn’t care. “has anyone else noticed that there is a lot of people staring at us all?” I said with concern and worried-ness “yea I have” heather said. “me 2” “same” agreed Rebecca and Rachel. “someone came up to me and asked where Taylor was and if she was ok and then started laughing.” carol started to explain. “wait what!?! Who told!?!” I started yelling. “none of us said anything.” “I know that but was there anyone around? Who could have over heard us? Who would be so mean to tell everyone?” I said as tears started to fill my eyes. I cleared them away trying not to mess up my make up. “it was probably Ashley or one of her friends. She’s the only one who hates Taylor this much to ruin her life even more. I know that she did it. I don’t care how much she denies it, she did it.” Rachel stated in an angry tone. “your probably right.” carol said. “lets go get her!” Rachel screamed. Rachel took off. We all followed. When we finally found Ashley, heather tackled up against the locker and started screaming at her like a crazy person. Of course Ashley acted like she had no idea what we were talking about. Heather just pushed her even harder against the locker. Ashley’s boyfriend came over and get heather off her. 3 of his friends had to help her. I jumped on Ashley’s boyfriends back. Carol, Rachel and Rebecca started fighting with the other 3 trying to let them let go of heather. Ashley started to run away. I got knocked off his back and fell to the ground. He threw heather against the wall. Carol got pushed into the lockers and hit her head. Rachel got shoved against the lockers and then they kicked her legs and she fell to the ground. Rebecca got thrown on the ground and they kicked her stomach and ran. We were all pretty hurt but we all just kept thinking, Taylors going threw this everyday, we still have to stop this. I was the first to gain enough strength to get up. I helped heather get up then carol then Rachel and then Rebecca. I landed on my arm and the massive impact made my shoulder start bleeding intensely. Carols head was bleeding. Rachel’s legs were all black and blue, it didn’t even look like skin, and she could barely walk. Rebecca’s stomach got cut open from to much pressure and she was bleeding a lot, all around it was bruised to. Heather’s nose was broken since she landed on it. We all just collapsed against the walls and just sat there. Suddenly all our phones went off. It was Ashley saying “you messed with me not im going to make Taylor wish she was dead, you picked the wrong person to fight with.” We all gasped and froze.

"Kelsey?" I called. She wasn't quite awake yet. Suddenly, doctors came rushing in, telling me I had to wait outside. I did, for a few hours. One of the doctors finally came out saying, "I understand that you're Kelsey's friend, Aaron?" "Yes," I whispered. He bit his lip. "She woke up, she's fine, but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss." "Are you serious?" I almost shouted. "I'm afraid so." I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't. I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again. "You can go see her if you want, but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom." I walked in, trembling in horror. I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept. I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again. I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out. Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered, "I don't know you, but I like your eyes."
