- untitled part 8 we continued kissing eagerly until i heard a car pull up into the drive way and the garage opened. 13 didn't seem to notice and was kissing my neck. i pulled him back. "did you hear that?!" i whispered frantically.he laid on top of me and was kissing me for longer each time "hear what?" he kissed me again. "stop i think my parents are home!!" i whisper-yelled. his eyes got huge and thats when i noticed how green they were. think aaron! i thought what to do?? "hide in the closet!" i suggested. 13 grabbed my neck and kissed me one last time. i was out of breath when he got up and went into the closet. i got up turned my light off, shut my window and crawled under the sheets. my parents were still in the garage, they had a lot of bags to carry. they dropped everything in the living room and my mom went to take a shower. NOO!!! i thought nooo!!! 13's shirt is in the bathroom!!! "honey i'm too tired to take a shower let's just go to bed" my mom said "ok sweetie goodnight" my dad said they closed the door and went to sleep. i looked in the bathroom and 13's shirt had fallen into the shower, hidden by the curtain. i breathed a huge sigh of relief. i walked back into my room and 13 was sitting on my bed. "i think i should go." he said slowly. " ya i guess" he pulled me toward him and i sat on him with my legs wrapped around his waist. he kissed me for a few seconds, he put his tongue in my mouth and when he pulled back he looked like he wanted to do much more than that. then he crawled out the window without saying goodbye. i sat down on my bed. school started in a week. where had my summer gone? i thought. 6 days had passed and i hadn't heard at all from 13. i didn't even know exactly where he lived only the street. the first day of school i got up, got ready and started walking towards the school.i tugged at the ridiculous uniform i had to wear. sigh. it was a nice walk though, over a bridge and through the woods to high school we go i thought in sing song voice. as i was walking i heard someone behind me i turned and there was 13! he saw me and smiled i ran towards him and hugged him. "where have you been?" i asked "i got grounded till school started because when you&i went 'camping' i told my mom my friends were going and she found out they hadn't gone and i came home at 2 in the morning she was really mad" "oh" i said. " he said "fiddle sticks" i said 13 smiled "your so corny" and laughed. i smiled back "well i guess since we're caught know theres no harm in this" he pushed me up against a tree and put his hands on my waist under my shirt " your.. hands..are freezing" i said between kisses. he pulled back "i'm nervous." he explained "i've managed to be the 'good student' for 2 years and i don't want to ruin that" "ya. we should probably keep walking" we were almost inside the building when the bell rang. we ran to home room and came in right when the bell rang. i blushed bright red as everyone stared at us. we quickly took our seats. ding! the front desk called the room "yes?" the teacher asked. "hi can we have aaron cahfee and chase roberts to the principals office? "i'll send them right away" said the teacher. once we were out in the hall i asked "so your name is chase?" 13 blushed "would you prefer me to still can you 13?" i asked "yes" he said and smiled. "should we act like we hardly know each other?" "most definetly" he said we walked into the office and the principal looked at us but didn't say anything. after a long silence he finally said "are you two dating? you both know that the school has a strict policy on the matter" "no sir we know the rules" 13 said smoothly. "very well. but i'm keeping my eye are you two. you can head back to class" we left quickly. "that was a close one!" 13 agreed " sooo..." i began awkwardly "are we dating?" "secretly" 13 said "if your ok with that?" "ya i guess" i said we walked back in silence. i texted 13 throughout the day. we always had great conversations. i couldn't wait till school ended though

"yes" he said enthusiastically. i muttered of course to myself and started walking. we didn't talk much on the way home and there was an akwardness to everything. i hoped it wouldn't last. he's my bestfriend. i unlocked the front door and yelled "mum im home!" no one answered. i tossed my stuff on the couch and got a drink for me and corey. "no ones home i guess" as i handed him his drink. he smiled that mischevious smile and i wondered what he was planning. i walked upstairs to my room and collapsed on my bed corey stood awkwardly in the doorway. "you can come in" i told him and he slowly walked in. i sat up and gave him a puzzled expression. "whats wrong?" he sighed and sat on my bed. "its nothing" "come on you can tell me!" i exclaimed strating to get worried now. "can i show you?" "yes" i replied and stood up, ready to follow him. he stood up and grabbed my waist and slowly kissed me. "do you see?...we're great together" he told me quietly. i didn't know what to say. i didnt see him in this way but now i was starting to. "no...were not..." my eyes started tearing up. i could only imagine how much this was hurting him. i left my room and went out the front door and headed into the forest. when i got to the edge i started running. i got to the clearing and curled up with my chin on my knees. the tears started to fall but i didn't make a sound. i looked up at the sky and noticed it was pitch black out. how long have i been here?? i thought. i started shivering and thats when i felt his arms around me. i turned around and there was corey. he looked sad and a little upset but he still hugged me tight. he was so warm. after a while he looked at me and said "i think i'm going to go". "noo..please..stay" i begged. we walked back to my house and still no one was there. i called my mum and found out her and my dad were in jacksonville. "what?!?" i asked. "yes, i left a note and voicemail that we have an emergency meeting up here." i looked on the fridge and there it was. "oh..." i said. then said goodbye and hung up. i looked around..corey wasnt here."corey?" i asked as i walked up the stairs. suddenly the power surged and it was pitch dark. ugh. the power always was going out. i walked into my room and laid on my bed. i screamed when i saw i wasnt alone. he screamed too. "what are you doing??" i asked "oh im sorry!! i fell asleep! im sorry!!" i started laughing and he did too. "its ok" i said. i checked my phone..10:48. "don't you have to go home??" i asked. "nope i told my mom im sleeping over at a friends house.." i looked at him disaprovingly. "what it's true" he said. i smirked. "well where are you sleeping?" "here" he said. "erg fine then im sleeping on the couch" i replied. "what? why? come on this isn't the first time we've slept in the same bed together" he winked. "yea that was different! it was a class field trip at the hotel and we hadn't kissed then!"i argued. "well...that just makes it more interesting this time" he laughed. i giggled and said "fine but im going to sleepim exhausted" i went to the edge of the bed and curled up trying to stay warm without the heater. corey could tell i was cold and snuggled up close to me and wrapped his arms around me. i removed them but then realized how cold i was. i turned to face him and tangled my legs in his. "you're so cold" he whispered i looked up at him and he kissed me. he started to sit up and laid on top of me and we continued to kiss. suddenly i pushed him off. "whats wrong" he asked "i just can't.....your my best friend" "so! that doesnt matter..we can be best friends with benefits.." he argued. i gave in to temptation and not only did he kiss me but i kissed right back.

One of the doctors finally came out saying, "I understand that you're Kelsey's friend, Aaron?" "Yes," I whispered. He bit his lip. "She woke up, she's fine, but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss." "Are you serious?" I almost shouted. "I'm afraid so." I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't. I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again. "You can go see her if you want, but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom." I walked in, trembling in horror. I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept. I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again. I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out. Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered, "I don't know you, but I like your eyes."
