comprehend my pain for him.
I came across
Sally and his documentary on T.V today
by accident. He recieved brain damage after 8 strokes came upon him on valentines day last year, was was in a deep coma. He surprised doctors who gave him a 5% survival rate by coming out of the coma after 45 days.
Him and his fiance Sally were meant to get married that year, on may 8th, the anniversary of their first meeting(in 2006) this year. Sally stayed by his side the whole time after his accident, and refused to leave him.
Sam's devoted family were trying to find a miracle cure, anything to help him. Then they came across Stillnox, which is meant to be used as a sleeping-pill, but had been found to cure Brain-Injured patients, but for a limited time, even though it was experimental, they decided that It was there best shot.
After being prescribed the drug, they gave it to Sam, and for an hour each day he can speak, and return to his old self. Then he slowly drifts off back to his state were he can not verbally comunicate. Even though Sam has not fully recovered, his progress is amazing.
He described how he felt about being able to finally verbally communicate again:
"It's a miracle. For 15 months I was trapped, I was trapped in my own body. I could not communicate verbally at all and now I can."
Sam and Sally's unbreakable love is amazing.
They both are truely amazing people.
