“Mind tell me what I couldn’t do?” Evan raised an eyebrow.
“Youcouldn’tlikemebecauseyouarewithBrittandsheismybestfriend!” My lips couldn’t keep up with the words pouring out of my mouth.
“Come again?”
“You couldn’t like me because you are with Britt and she is my best friend!” I forced my mouth to slow down.
“Well about that...” Evan took a long sip of his drink.
“No! You have to be joking!”
“Sorry babe, but I’m not joking. I really do care about you as more than a friend. However, now Britt is your best friend and you are dating Tyler--”
“I’m not dating Tyler. He never officially asked me out.” I interrupted.
“Good because then I’m the only one cheating when I do this.”
“Mind tell me what I couldn’t do?” Evan raised an eyebrow.
“Youcouldn’tlikemebecauseyouarewithBrittandsheismybestfriend!” My lips couldn’t keep up with the words pouring out of my mouth.

“Well about that...” Evan took a long sip of his drink.
“No! You have to be joking!”
“Sorry babe, but I’m not joking. I really do care about you as more than a friend. However, now Britt is your best friend and you are dating Tyler--”
“I’m not dating Tyler. He never officially asked me out.” I interrupted.
“Good because then I’m the only one cheating when I do this.”
“Do what?” I started to ask, but Evan’s lips crashed against mine before I could finish my question. My eyes widened, but quickly fluttered closed as his lips massaged mine. A gasp from the table next to us rang through my ears as I realized what we were doing.
