Why is it we always fall for our best friends? Is it because we know
we can trust them? Is it because we know them so well? Is it because
of the way they know exactly what's going on in our heads? Or is it
because they are there any day, anytime, anywhere without the promise
of kisses, intimate touches or whispered sentiments of love? I think we
love them because they are there when there is nothing in it for them
except for that little glimmer of hope that maybe someday there will be. <3

I know I'm not completely over him. He still crosses my mind several
times a day, but with each one of those times, a feeling of contempt
also passes through my heart. Maybe if this happens enough, my
heart will become completely hardened to him, and I'll get to the point
he doesn't affect me anymore.

In this weird twisted way, I know you miss me liking you,
not because I want to believe it's true, but because you'll
never find a girl that can put up with you like I did; you'll
never find a girl who will care as much as I did, because
no one will waste all there love on someone like you, like I did.

Do you want to know what my problem is? I will tell you what
my problem is, i love you. I love your name, I love the way you
look at me, I love your gorgeous smile, I love the way you walk,
I love your beautiful eyes, I love what you look like when you
are asleep, I love the sound of your laugh, to hear your voice
fills my entire heart with an indescribable feeling. I love the way
I can be having the worst day of my life and seeing you completely
changes my mood. I love how when you touch me I get weak,
 that's my problem.

Life isn't about keeping score. It's not about how many people call
you and it's not about who you've dated, are dating, or haven't dated
at all. It isn't about who you've kissed, what sport you play, or which
guy or girl likes you. It's not about your shoes or your hair or the color
of your skin or where you live or go to school. In fact, it's not about
grades, money, clothes, or colleges that accept you or not. Life isn't
about if you have lots of friends, or if you are alone, and it's not about
how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn't about that. But life
is about who you love and who you hurt. It's about how you feel about
yourself. It's about trust, happiness, and compassion. Life is about
avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance, and building confidence. It's
about what you say and what you mean. It’s about seeing people for who they
are and not what they have. Most of all, it is about choosing to use your life
to touch someone else's in a way that could never have been achieved otherwise.
These choices are what life's about. <3

It made me wonder how many times we forgive just because we don't
want to lose someone, even if they don't deserve our forgiveness. <3

You may not be her first, her last or her only. She loved before she may
love again. But if she loves you, what else matters? She's not perfect but
you aren't either, and the two of you may never be perfect together, but if
she can make you laugh, cause you to think twice, and admit to being
human and making mistakes, hold onto her and give her the most you
can. She may not be thinking about you every second of the day, but she
will give you a part of her that she knows you can break her heart. So don't
hurt her, don't change her, don't analyze and don't expect more than she
can give. Smile when she makes you happy, let her know when she makes
you mad, and miss her when she's not there. <3
