" Hey Tasha we have some news" Tanner said. I could already tell it wasn't good news by his face. " ok whats up." i asked suddenly worried. " Well our parents got out of jail and they want us back" Brian said. I started having a panic attack. " NO they cant take us away! I cant go back never their going to kill me!" I screamed at them. " Tasha were not going to let them take you calm down" Hayden said in a calm voice. My breathing finally started to slow and i lay down next to my brothers. I started to fall asleep when i heard Brian say " Hayden how are we going to stop them from getting her back." " I dont know but we have to try she cant go back there because she right... they wil kill her." Tanner said. I started getting worried but i couldnt show it they couldnt know i was awake. What if they dont get custody of me what if i have to go back there. My body started shaking uncontrollably. " Guys i think shes cold can you go get a blanket" I heard Tanner say before i passed out.

I changed into my swimsuit grabbed my phone and walked out the door. I got to the lake within 10 minutes. I walked onto the sand only to hear " Heads up!" I looked up and saw a football headed straight for me. I smiled to myself and caught the ball. Suddenly a guy ran up to me. " Oh my gosh i am so sorry!" I laughed" Its fine im used to having balls thrown at me by random guys." He smiled the cutest smile i have ever seen. " Alright then im Jace who are you i havent seen you around here before." he asked. " Im new my names Tasha" all of a sudden its like a lightbulb went off in his head. "So your the girl Brett was talking about." I smiled " uhh yeah i guess" " Well you're even cuter in person want to go get some ice cream?" he asked. " No thanks im just going to sit down." He frowned" Are you sure? No other girl has ever rejected me before." Now it was my turn to forwn. " Oh i see i know your type you think you can get any girl you want.... well i dont want you so just go back to your friends." I started walking away when he grabbed my arm. I flinched slightly but turned around. "what" I asked annoyed. " Will you atleast give me your number so i can try to make this up to you?" " Alright whatever" after i gave him my number he finally walked away. I just layed down when my phone beeped. " Ughh what now!" I muttered to myself. message from Hayden: Tasha we all need to go to court where are you Brians going to pick you up. I typed back instantly why do i have to go i hate them i never want to see them again ever! Ten seconds later he replied message from Hayden Tasha you can help the judge decide to not give them custody of you I sighed Alright im at the lake Brian picked me up 5 minutes later and drove home. " Brian i dont want to go back" I said close to crying. " I know sis i know" I could tell he wanted to cry but didnt want me to see it. I sighed and looked out he window. We got home i changed and we were on the road again. Well i guess this is it I thought to myself. This may be the end of my life.

"Kelsey?" I called. She wasn't quite awake yet. Suddenly, doctors came rushing in, telling me I had to wait outside. I did, for a few hours. One of the doctors finally came out saying, "I understand that you're Kelsey's friend, Aaron?" "Yes," I whispered. He bit his lip. "She woke up, she's fine, but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss." "Are you serious?" I almost shouted. "I'm afraid so." I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't. I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again. "You can go see her if you want, but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom." I walked in, trembling in horror. I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept. I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again. I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out. Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered, "I don't know you, but I like your eyes."
