I'm not the prettiest person in the world, but I know I'm

I'm not the prettiest person in the world,
but I know I'm not ugly.
From what I've been told I'm beautiful.
For the first time in my life I'm feeling that.
Without all the makeup and sleezy clothes making me feel constrained and tight,
like I was trying to impress someone for no reason.
Trying to impress people I don't know,
when in reality,
I'm making myself look like a joke.
I know the people I love and that love me don't care what I look like.
Whether I have makeup on or not,
wearing a dress or baggy sweats,
if I have a face full of zits or I'm clear as glass,
they don't care,
and I shouldn't either.
