Borders
For a
border, you would start with this code.
<div
style="border: 3px solid #01CCFF;">
The '3px' represents the size of the border. The higher
the number, the bigger it gets. I'm going to change
'3px'
to '9px'.
<div style="border: 9px solid #01CCFF;">
Now that we've established that, let's go on. The
'solid' represents how you want the border to look. You
can change it to 'dotted' to make the border dotted.
Change it to 'dashed' to make the border dashed. You
continue this with 'inset' 'outset'
'groove' and 'ridge'. I'm going to change
'solid' to 'ridge'.
<div style="border: 9px ridge #01CCFF;">
The number you see, '#01CCFF', represents color. HTML
coding uses those codes for collor. You can find a complete list of
those colors and codes here-->(http://www.computerhope.com/htmcolor.htm#02)
I'm going to change '#01CCFF' to
'#FF00FF' which is
magenta.
<div
style="border: 9px ridge #FF00FF;">
