- Untitled part 2 So ill start off with this. My name is Willow Eve Hope & im turning sixteen years old. & no i am not pregnant you guys. I live in a small town in the middle of no where. Mount cliff , Vermont. In a small yellow house , on the middle of Thorn Brooke Avenue , theres a new white porch hard wood shelves filled with different colored books owned by Professor Carone. My mom. My dad is well gone ... I don't know where he is but where ever that is I wanna go. I haven't seen him since I was ten , but I know he still cares. He sends out little envelopes to me every month , if he gets the time. Thats what I look for every month , that yellow envelope with the fancy scribble on the side with my dads symbol. Every time I see it my eyes light up & my cheeks get rosy. My mom still doesn't know he keeps in contact with me. Ever letter is filled with a new paragraph about how sorry he is that he couldn't get the time to send me one sooner & a picture of him. & his new family. Next to a man with Dark black hair & gleaming green eyes is a women with long curly blonde hair with bright blue eyes laughing into the camera. Theres a little boy at her feet with dirty blonde hair in a red & white stripped shirt playing with a yellow & black truck outside a huge blue house. With expensive paintings all over the place , but everything looks happy. Thats my dad , his new wife & son. So im stuck with my step loser. Jerry. He comes from an all Italian family who annoys the crap out of me. Mom doesn't seem to realize how much of a jerk Jerry is. Maybe she started to notice things where changing when my brother ran away. I have a brother Martin whos turning 17 in two months. We look exactly alike. Deep changing blue eyes , rosy cheeks, Long dark brown glistening hair & really long eye lashes. He ran away the night Jerry hit him. Leaving only a note for me & a nice mess for Jerry & mom the next morning. The only thing that wasn't destroyed was Me & Martins room. I remember the day Martin ran way it was only six months ago but it seems forever. I remember the sting of tears in my eyes & regret. Mostly hate but there was regret. All I could thing was how could he leave me. It seems like yesterday we were a normal family. Martins baseball practice on mondays , My ballet classes on Tuesdays , Dad's school concert on Wednesday , Moms dance performance on Thursday , Friday family game night , Saturday was obedience school for our old dog lucky , & Sunday was the day we always took a trip to the zoo. Martin always carried his red cap with him everywhere when he was little , it was dads. When dad ran away Martin was 11. That was the year he quit baseball. The year everyone fell apart. Martin comes & visits every Wednesday night , to come check on me. Every time I see his bright blue eyes pop up from my window he tells me stories about where he travels. He lives somewhere in Maine. He begs me to come with him , to leave mom , & Jerry. & while that sounds awesome & everything I have a boyfriend & best friend I lived for. If it wasn't for me, wanting to play basketball with her, she wouldn't be going through this. It was already four days, and she hasn't woken up. On the fifth day, I saw her eyes gently open. "Kelsey?" I called. She wasn't quite awake yet. Suddenly, doctors came rushing in, telling me I had to wait outside. I did, for a few hours. One of the doctors finally came out saying, "I understand that you're Kelsey's friend, Aaron?" "Yes," I whispered. He bit his lip. "She woke up, she's fine, but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss." "Are you serious?" I almost shouted. "I'm afraid so." I didn't meet his gaze. I couldn't. I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again. "You can go see her if you want, but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom." I walked in, trembling in horror. I saw her. She looked helpless as she slept. I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again. I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out. Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered, "I don't know you, but I like your eyes."
