"You know what, they were right, you do deserve
to die,"
His voice was faded away by the soft winds that blew around us;
silently but effectively.
Another tear crawled down my cheeks and around my neck. "Maybe
they were right," I mumbled under my breath.
Nothing seemed real. Everything was blurry and fading. Purple,
black smoke engulfing my view leaving me with nothing but the
silhouettes of faded people.
Another person came, grabbing my hair viciously and forcefully,
pulling it down by strength, putting me in pain, indescribable
pain, undesirable pain.
I let out a scream; but it couldn't be heard. Not here. Not in
this place.
The men laughed. "Scream all you want, as if someone is really
going to come here and save you," Laughs, laughs, laughs. And
more laughs. Thats all there was; strong laughter echoed around
the room; deafening my ears; I'll probably be deaf by the time I
get out of here- But will I even get out? Or will I just
die?
A man pinched me on the thigh, while the others were busy
finishing their cigarettes to stub on my body later.
"Stop it," I yelled, cupping my ears with my hands. My whole
world was spinning now; and everything was getting more and more
blurry. "STOP!" I yelled once more, when there seemed to be no
hope or this never ending cruelty.
"Shut up, you little b*tch," The older one grumbled, finishing
his cigarette and pressing the hot end against my red swollen
cheek.
He smirked, watching my expression change and let the tears fall
down my face.
My eyes closed as I murmured a prayer that was playing between my
lips- It was only God who could save me now; it was only God who
I could turn to.
"Chop her up and throw her into the river," The older man who had
stubbed the cigarette on my face laughed.
My eyes opened automatically. "What!" I yelled to the crazy
rapist standing in front of me. "What do you even want from
me?"
"You're a witness, kid," He grinned. "A very big witness- that
can go tell the police and get us in; but we don't want that,
now? Do we?"
What witness is he talking about?
"I don't know you," I finished firmly; letting out a puff of
air.
Another man came and threw his beer bottle at my feet. "Shut up,
you know exactly what we're talking about," He stopped. "You were
there, I remember your face!"
"I don't even know whats going on?" I exclaimed.
"Liam Thompson's death: you were there, you little b*tch," He
shouted at me as if I were mad and stupid; but to be honest I
still didn't know what was going on.
"Who's Liam Thompson?" I narrowed my eyes.
The man that had thrown the beer bottle at my feet came back in
again with more frustration on his face. "He is your
brother!"
My brother? Who's my brother?
"I don't remember anything," I whispered; I looked at them back
and forth.
The older chief squinted his eyes; he looked as if he would shoot
me right now with the gun in his pocket. "Who are you?"
I looked at them, dumbfounded. W-who who was I? "I don't
know," I sounded like an idiot; but every word from my mouth had
a drop of truth in it.
One of them was ready with his rifle, but he was stopped by the
older chief. He turned around and started to whisper to the
others, leaving me confused on the ground, at the edge of the
cliff, where if I loose my balance, I would fall and die.
The older chief turned around to face me again, but this time, he
was smiling; and not acting moody.
"You're one of us now," He paused. "From now on, your name
is Unknown,"
