NIall's P.O.V
I looked at Liam in confusion. Why did he look so unhappy right now? Did he… like Alyssa? As in as… more than a friend.
No, Liam wouldn’t do that to me. I mean I already know that Zayn and Louis like her, and that was before we were dating.
Why did he suddenly look so upset when he looked at us together? I’m gonna have to have a talk with these boys. We never let a girl get between us, and it’s certainly not going to happen now, right before a tour. That’s just messed up.
I unwrapped Alyssa’s arms from my neck and held her hand tightly and looked at Liam, nodding for him to lead the way.
He just looked at our entwined hands a second longer, then turned on his heel and left the room.
“What’s gotten into him?” Alyssa muttered, looking up at me with hurt in her eyes.
I simply shrugged and followed Liam into the living room.
How can such a smart girl be so oblivious to everything?
I walked into the living room to find everyone sitting down, looking at us quietly. Louis and Zayn looked at our hands, the expression on their faces unreadable.
Liam sat there, glaring at us openly, which is just not natural for him, and I found it rather unnerving.
Harry just sat there calmly, grinning widely at the both of us. I breathe out a sigh of relief, knowing at least one of them supported Alyssa and
I. Paul and Mr. Cline were just chatting quietly and I noticed a tray of snacks sitting on the coffee table, untouched. Alyssa and I glanced at each other quickly and lunged for the table.
Of course, Alyssa beat me to it (I let her) and scooped the platter into her hands quickly, hugging it to her chest without spilling any food.
“Mine.” She said protectively and stalked over to a one-person chair, immediately starting to eat the food.
We all looked at her in shock, while she stuffed her face. How she managed to make it look absolutely perfect, don’t ask me.
I guess some people have the natural adorableness.
After about five minutes of her eating, she finally looked up.
“It’s rude to stare. Are we just going to sit here in the living room like awkward turtles or are we going to start talking about the tour? We’re leaving for Paris early tomorrow right?”
She directed her last question to Paul and he nodded quickly. He opened his mouth to speak but before he could Mr. Cline held his hand up.
“Wait, before we start we should go get Jessie. Can someone go and fetch her?”
Immediately my eyes shot to Alyssa, who had stopped eating, mid-chew, and was still holding her watermelon in her hand with her eyes averted to the floor.
“Oh, well, um… it would be kind of hard to go and get her that quickly. She’s um, in New York?”
She said quietly, refusing to look up from her lap.
Mr. Cline looked at her in shock, not really comprehending what she said.
“Sorry, what?” He asked disbelievingly. A
lyssa looked up at her father and stared at him.
“Jessica Allen moved back to New York, because she’s a complete and utter fake.” Alyssa said coldly. She started eating again, completely ignoring her father’s gaze.
“Okaaaaaaaaaaaayy,” Paul started, dragging out the a.
“So since we already planned out the tour with two girls included, and since Jessica is no longer here, for reasons unknown, we’re going to have to find someone else. Alyssa, do you know anyone?” Paul looked at her hopefully.
He’s kind of a genius. He could see that something happened between the two, and I doubt she wants to tour with five crazy guys all on her own.
Suddenly, Lyss shot up in her seat, obviously thinking of someone.
“Phoebe!!!!!!” She shouted in pure delight, fist pumping in the air dramatically.
Mr. Cline looked at her with a huge smile while we all just stared in confusion.
If both Alyssa and Mr. Cline like her, how crazy can she be?
