i have one of those dads
who throws random facts at you. for example, one day while watching
animal planet...
me: hippos are cute.
dad: they're not that cute. did you know that more people die from hippo attacks than shark attacks?
me (thinking): who the f*ck knows that???
me (saying): oh, really? i didn't know that.
dad: hippos are actually quite fascinating creatures... (going into a long rant about hippos)
me (thinking): omg, help!...
me: hippos are cute.
