Because we can't spend an evening together? Because I can't hold his hand right now, or give him a hug, or kiss him? I can't love him because I can't physcially be with him at this point in time? Since when does physical contact define love? I don't love him for how it feels to be next to him, how to it feels to feel his arms wrapped around me, or to have his lips pressed against mine. I love him for who he is, I love him for his personality. I love him for the amazing person he is. You can't have a real relationship... Why the h.ll not? Because of the distance? Because he isn't from America? Because we're "too different"? Long distance relationships are a lot more common than you'd think, and there are so many success stories. Because we met online, so what? Thirty-four percent of relationships start online now. So even if it isn't traditonal or the way you expected me to meet my boyfriend, that doens't mean it's not a real way to meet someone. Just because we can't be together right now doesn't mean our relationship isn't real, or our feelings aren't real. None of this is fake. We know each other. We love each other. We are in a real relationship. That's all there is to it.
