Once
upon a time there was a girl.
When
she turned about 6 or 7 years old her grandma bought her a
stuffed animal for Christmas that came with a virtual code to
enter onto a website in a virtual world. It was called a
Webkinz. Webkinz opened her world to all computer websites.
Later on, she soon became attatched to other websites like
Moshi Monsters, Build-A-Bear, and Stardoll. When she turned 12
she got her very own laptop, further encouraging more internet
time. She went outside less. Her life consisted of just
Stardoll for a bit. While other kids were playing sports or
doing crafts, she was trying to decipher html coding. Soon she
discovered a website called WittyProfiles, it had exciting
colorful and hilarious quotes and seemed nice, so she joined.
By the time she turned 13 she was hooked. She never goes
outside anymore, not at all. She loses friends. She plays about
7 hours a day. She lives for her laptop. She's made alot of
new friends on Witty, but she fears for her future. Will she be
successful? The only thing she's interested in is computer.
She doesn't have a clue what she wants to be when she grows
up. She doesn't like anything. Any time she's not on
the computer she's thinking about going back on.
