My name is Kayla and i like to sing.

Hello , my name is Kayla , I'm 16 and i live in new jersey,
new jersey sucks, my best friend doesn't live here, the girls here
are all fake and the boys are immature
i was bullied from elementary school, all throughout
middle school but once i got to high school it stopped,
people are so nice to me now , people who would call
me names like and ugly last year, all want
to be my friend. I don't deal with that. I used to be so
nice to everyone, but I'm not anymore, because i
was so nice to people and everyone treated my like
so i stopped being nice, i simply became the biggest ever.
My best friend i mentioned earlier that doesn't like in new jersey
her name is Michelle and she lives in new York. Michelle
is my sanity, she's the best best best friend i could ever ask for.
she's like a sister to me and i love her so much, i just wish i could
see her more because i hate how we barely see each other
but it's okay because i know that our friendship will never die
unlike all of the other girls i though were my "best friends" Michelle
isn't a two-face, dumb , bitchy attention who will do anything
for popularity which is why i love her. she doesn't care what people say
about her, and she's a genuinely great person.

It feels like the perfect night

I'm up on Witty
I SHOULD BE SLEEEEPING

It's taking up our lives, oh yeahhhhhh

And we're all so obsessed

Chapter Ten

Noah was suddenly not beside me anymore.
As soon as I noticed that while walking, I nearly had a heart attack.
It's not like I'm scared of Megan.
Okay, maybe a bit.
But most of the time, i'd just rather not get caught in all the drama by simply talking back.
It never leads to anything good with girls like Megan.
"Oh my gosh, hey Raina!" she exclaimed in a fake, girlish voice.
Her face then suddenly turned evil. I think I almost peed my pants at that moment.
"Nobody wants to be your friend still, if that's what you're aiming for. Loser."
She began to giggle, my ex-best friends laughing along.
I didn't dare even glance towards them; i couldn't without breaking.
I almost opened my mouth, but then i reminded myself, as always,  that that wouldn't do me any good.
Suddenly, I felt a warm hand on my arm. I smiled, relieved.
"Hey gorgeous."
"Hey!" Megan brightly replied as she smiled at him seductively. He rolled his eyes. "I wasn't talking to you, but if I would, i wouldn't use gorgeous to describe you."
Her jaw dropped.
"Baby, what the h--l happened to you? You never say this stuff?"
He  smirked.
"Nah, but I always though it."
And with that, he walked with me inside the school, away from her.
"God, what're you doing? Aren't you worried your friends will hate you when they find out you've dissed your favorite play toy like two times already!" I dramatically exclaimed.
He chuckled. "Well, I needed to defend you since you're still not doing it yourself."
I opened my mouth to explain why, but he cut me off.
"So my first reason is that from now on, you aren't alone."

And now for the cliche line that authors love to use; IT GETS BETTER!

Macklemore.
So I'm currently enrolled in a Public Speaking class in school. The first assignment was to write a speech on anything. It could only last from 2-3 minutes. So, I chose Macklemore. I thought you guys might enjoy it.

"When I was asked the question, 'What are you going to do for your speech?' I answered with, 'Macklemore.' No one really knew who Macklemore was, so to describe him, I said, 'The guy who sings Thrift Shop.' Instantly, everyone knows who I'm talking about. And you guys kind of gave me weird looks or giggled, like, 'How is this girl going to write a 2 minute speech on a guy who sings about thrift shopping?'
"Well, that guy is actually named Ben Haggerty. Ben was born June 19, 1983, in Seattle, Washington. In the year 2000, when he was 16, he began his music carreer. He released an album under the name of Prof. Macklemore. The album's sales were minimal.
"In 2005, Macklemore began abusing substances. OxyContin, in specific. He hit rock bottom to the point where he lost everything; his home, his family, and even his music carreer. In 2008, after 3 years of drug addiction, he finally decided to clean himself up. He was sober by 2009.
"The Heist was the next album to be released. This album was released under the name Macklemore. He dropped the Prof. The Heist features Thrift Shop, but it also has songs like Otherside and Same Love. On this album, Macklemore talks about adolescent violence, suicide, gay marriage and drug addiction. In his song Otherside, where he profiles substance abuse, he uses the quote:
"You're stuck, looking in a mirror like I can't believe what I've become. Swore I was gonna be someone, and growing up, everyone always does. We sell our dreams and our potential to escape through that buzz.

"Same Love describes Macklemore's views on gay marriage and gay rights. In that song, he uses the line:
"It's the same hate that caused war over religion. Gender to skin color. The complexion of your pigment. The same fight that led people to walk-outs and sit-ins. It's human rights for everybody, there is no difference. Live on and be yourself.
"And this man is famous for the line: I wear your grandad's clothes. I look incredible.
"Macklemore is so much better than Thrift Shop. Macklemore is an inspiration and my idol. He's the reason why I keep pushing myself to be better and to make the right descions. He's such a poetic genius and it's disgusting that he's famous for potentially the worst song he'll ever produce. Macklemore is not the guy who sings Thrift Shop. Macklemore is the man who's attempting to change the genre of rap and hip hop music.
"That is Macklemore. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how you write a 2 minute speech on the man who sings about thrift shops."

Wittians.

I would like to point out that,

Witty

Chapter 36
Morgan, for the first time in her entire life, felt and looked absolutely beautiful.
It was slightly indescribable; the feelings of watching your sister prepare to be married. She was my best friend, and I wanted her to be happy. But, in a way, I knew I was losing her.
She allowed her hair to, over time, renew the auburn color it naturally expressed. She let it fall in native imperfect curls around her face and just below shoulder length. She decided today she would not wear much, if any makeup.
She held true to that, only wearing glimmering pink lip gloss. She allowed earrings and a necklace that matched mine to hang from her body.
Her dress was a spaghetti strap with floral lace patterns and beads at the top, and a silky texture from the lower chest down. It was slightly folded over to give off the impression that she was thinner than she actually was. She wore a thin veil that hung to the middle of her back.
My face was decorated with more eye shadow than I was used to and a smidge of eyeliner. My lips were coated in a very pale grey-purple color that twinkled in the lighting. I felt awkward in my heels, I couldn’t walk right even without them.
Morgan sent the bridesmaids out to mingle with people already at the wedding. Anthony wasn’t too familiar with everyone, so I hung by him, and then when Ben and his wife came in, we went over to talk to them.
Benjamin smiled widely at me, greeting me with a gentle peck on the cheek, and his wife, whose name I had yet to learn, welcomed me with wide eyes, open smile, and outstretched arms.
She was stick thin, but her hugs seemed to consume you. “Ah! I’m so excited to see you!”
“It’s nice to see you again too!” I beamed. We all talked for just a short amount of time before I was dragged out of the conversation by another person, and another person.
After talking to nine or ten different people, Anthony and I finally found some time to us before the wedding actually started. We stood around a large table decorated with fruit. “So, I talked to Ben for a little while.”
“How is he?”
“He was wondering if we wanted to participate in a charity.”
My eyes snapped up from the strawberry I was eating. “What kind?”
“A book drive. For little kids in hospitals, and for soldiers overseas.”
My eyes went wide and a smile broke out on my face. “Oh my God, Anthony, that would be amazing!”
He grinned. “Yeah, I liked it too. We’ll call him.”
Everyone began taking seats on either side of the isle in the large ballroom. I sat next to Anthony, holding his hand in the front row, and my mother was beside him. His hands seemed clammy tonight, and I wondered why.
After everyone was silent, nothing happened. No music, no Morgan. Nothing.
Aidan cleared his throat, and suddenly everyone looked to him. “I have a friend who has a slight announcement to make before we proceed with the ceremony.” He winked to someone in my general direction.
I felt Anthony’s grip break from mine as my head snapped around to look at him as he got down on one knee and pulled a small box from his pocket.

Thank you, Nemo. I had to shovel your remnants off the back porch today. That took 2 hours.
I just got in from sledding, so hello hot chocolate <3
Oh and by the way I started writing my next short story. It's a lot worse than this one oops.

*I don't notify, please don't ask.*

Teacher: Why did you not study?

Student: A year has 365 days for you to study. After taking away 52 Sundays, there are only 313 days left. There are 50 days in the summer that is way too hot to work so there are only 263 days left. We sleep 8 hours a day, in a year, that counts up to 122 days so now we're left with 141 days. If we fooled around for only 1 hour a day, 15 days are gone, so we are left with 126 days. We spend 2 hours eating each day, 30 days are used in this way in the year, and we are left with 96 days in our year. We spend 1 hour a day speaking to friends and family, that takes away 15 days more and we are left with 81 days. Exams and tests take up at least 35 days in your year, hence you are only left with 46 days. Taking off approximately 40 days of holidays, you are only left with 6 days. Say you are sick for a minimum of 3 days, you're left with 3 days in the year to study! Let's say you only go out for 2 days... You're left with 1 day.
But that 1 day is your birthday.

More Than Friends

Cole's POV
"Did he give it to you?" Mike, one of the seniors, ask.
"No, he said he didn't have any." I grunt.
I was acting like I cared, I was actually happy we weren't getting any.
I didn't like smoking because when my older brother used to do it, he went insane, and always abused me.
I only do it because the guys probably wouldn't like me.
"Don't worry my friends, I've got some." My friend Ricky says, waving a bag full of pot in front of our faces.
"Yes, thank god!" Another senior named, Darin, yells.
My phone vibrates and I thank my mom for saying I needed to come home.
"Crap, I've got to go home, my mom text me." I show them the message.
They all sigh but then walk off to go get high like they do every day.

When I enter my house my mom is nowhere to be seen.
"Mom?" I call out.
"Cole!" My mom says, walking downstairs. "Good you're home."
"What did you need?" I ask.
"I'm flying to Colorado to see your grandmother, she's very ill. Will you be okay here alone for a few days?"
"Yeah, tell grandma I love her."
My mom nods her head, grabs her bags, and then walks out the door.
I can't believe my grandmother is ill, she never gets sick.
I decide to text Amy and this is how our conversation went:
Me: Amy, please text me back.
Amy: What do you want, Cole?
Me: I'm sorry, I need to understand that Carson is just your best friend.
Amy: Obviously, Cole. And Kenny already told me you asked for pot, so don't text me.
Me: I didn't do any. It was for the guys and I'm at home anyway. I promise.
Amy: You break promises.
Me: I'll treat you better this time Amy, I need you in my life. Please, be my girlfriend again?
Amy: You'll just keep lying to me.
Me: Amy, I won't. I need you and I realize this now.
Crap, I realize this now. Why did I say that?
Amy: Should've realized it awhile ago
Me: What I meant was I realize that you'll actually leave me and well, I can't deal with that.
10 minutes later, Amy finally replies.
Amy: This is your last chance, boyfriend.
