                                                         Chapter 2 Part 5

          Two minutes after the guys leave my doorbell rings. Aunt Kylie goes to get the door because she was in the kitchen. “DYLAN!” She yells. “VINCNENT’S HERE!”

            “I’m here” I respond from the other side of the foyer.

            Vincent turns around and smiles. Aunt Kylie gasps “Dyl you look amazing! Shane is a gift from the gods!” she exclaims while Vincent only nods looking me up and down.

             Blushing like crazy I walk over to the two finding out how easy it is to walk in my heals. I guess I never lost that skill. Makes this night all the easier. Vincent leans in to hug me and before he pulls away he whispers in my ear “You look truly fantastic. You’re going to have every guy in the restaurant drooling” he says chuckling and kissing my cheek.

            Blushing harder I turn to my aunt and she’s smoothing down her curly strawberry blonde hair looking away. “Well you two have a good night. Call if you have any problems. Buy Vincent.” She says walking away.

            “Ready to go?” I say almost looking him in the eye with my new height. I mean I'm not short. And even with heals he still is a good inch taller.

            “Of course” he says eyes smiling as he links his arm in mine and we walk out to his car.

            “Max and Shane are somewhere stalking my house so they will follow us to the restaurant.” I say as he opens my door. “And thank you very much.” I smile and slide into his Audi A6.

            After he gets in his side I turn to him. “I adore you car. So cute! I have a slight thing for Audis.”

            “Ya I saw your roadster pull out. Sweet model.” He says smiling at me and driving down my road to the restaurant.

            “So where are we going?” I ask.

            “Oh what’s the fun of taking you out if you know everything?” he says smiling but eyes never leaving the road.

            “Fine fine I’ll play your game.” I say giggling and crossing my legs.

            “We’re almost there just hold on” he says before pulling into one of the nicer restaurants in the town.

            “Oh my Vincent! You didn’t have to take me here! It’s so nice!” I say gushing and smiling like an idiot.

            “Hey I wanted to. Nice way to meet your friends and talk to you.” He says with a new glint in his eye. 
“Don’t get out yet.” He says opening his door and then mine.

            “Aw you are too sweet. Thank you.” I say blushing for what will not be the last time tonight. I hear Shane almost immediately.

            “I love this place! Dyl’s new friend has amazing taste! Ohh this is going to be so much fun isn’t it Maxy!”

            “Just don’t embarrass her. I can’t have the poor girl killing you. I love you far to much.”

            “Aw darling I’ll try.” They both carry on conversation realizing Vincent and I aren’t in earshot. Max notices first and looks up and nudges Shane who runs(bounces) over.

            “Why hello there I'm Shane. It’s wonderful to finally meet you.” He says in one breath once again and shaking Vincent’s hand when he sticks it out.  “You’ve met my lovely boyfriend Max.” he starts again and Max sticks his hand out to Vincent to shake.            

            “well I guess I'm not needed with introductions” I say smiling at the two boys.
