Chapter 7:
YES! It's about time we made
it to Tennessee! Now that I'm here, Austin is the only thing
on my mind... I really just cannot stop thinking about him.
Finally getting to our cabin was a relief, because the mountain
roads to get up here were crazy! The cabin that we're staying
in is gorgeous. I love the mountain view! There's a movie
room down stairs, a hot tub on the deck, and amazing mountain
views, and Austin's here. Couldn't get any better than
that. As everyone got settled, I hadn't seen Austin for a
while, so I figured I'd go take a look around and maybe run
into "run into" Austin.
Of course I do run into Austin, he's in
the movie room with his big brother. I have to admit, it was kind
of awkward walking into the movie room and him and his brother,
Joey just standing there. So I quickly had to think of a reason
why I just walked in there, so I was like "Wow, this is
cool.." I think they got the idea that I was just in
there to see Austin and didn't care about the movie room, but
I at least had to try to give an explanation as to why I went in
there. Both Austin and his brother replied saying "Yeah it
is!" I awkwardly stood there for a moment until Austin said
"Hey Jess, wanna come on the deck with me and see
if we can see the view before it gets dark?"
"Sure" I said with a smie on my face, as both of us
began to leave the movie room and Austin opened the door for me
and shut it behind us.

Chapter 6:
Virginia... The LONGEST freaking
state I've ever been in! We've been going through it for
about two hours and I already want to just get out of this car
and be in Tennessee. Knowing that Austin is in the car right
behind me makes me want to get there even more. Luckily, were
about to stop and get something to eat. Did I mention that
I'm STARVING! I guess the piece of toast didn't do me any
good.
Finally, we made it to a Cracker
Barrel and of course you know whose sitting right across from me,
with his eyes glued on me. Yup, Austin. Not that I mind or
anything, it's just kind of awkward... Plus, now I can't
stuff my face because he's going to be watching me eat. The
food comes to the table and I start eating my pancakes and Austin
eats his burger, but he's still watching me... I wonder what
he's thinking? Wait, does my makeup look stupid? Whatever, I
think my hunger over powered all these questions that
popped into my head. Once I finally got my mind off the fact that
he was staring at me like crazy, I started to notice his foot
hitting my foot. He probably accidentally hit me with his foot.
Oh who am I kidding?! I seriously think this kid is
playing footsies with me under the table! I think any
other person would think it was kind of weird or corny, but I
thought it was adorable <3

Chapter 5:
"Everyone ready?" My dad said as he
shut the truck on our van. "Yup." We all replied as
some of the little kids got into the cars. Everyone starts get in
the cars, but Austin and I locked eyes and I could of sworn time
froze. I quickly snapped out that trance and got in my car.
Moments after I left I got a text from Austin with a smiley
face and I replied the same.
I must of dozed off for a few hours, because I woke up and saw it
was 7:52 A. M, and I had two missed texts from Austin asking me
what I was doing and then he said we should talk to occupy each
other.
"Great" I thought to myself in my head, he's
probably going to think I'm avoiding him." I thought to
myself. I sent him a text saying "Sorry, I dozed
off."

Chapter 4:
Next to the insane beating of his heart, the
locusts were the loudest thing in the meadow. As my head rested
on his strong chest, it made me feel safe. The stars and moon
stared down on us and imprisoned us in this meadow, for what
seemed like forever. A shooting star penetrated the
night's calm being.
"Hey Babe, did you see that? Guess what I wished for?"
Austin whispered, as if his words would end our lives.
"What?" His fingers traced my chin as he pulled me
closer to his face. When our lips touched my heart ached with
joy. It was literally a dream come true. It was the best
experience of my-
"Jessica! Wake up!" My mom screeched as her fist
pounded on my door. I looked at my clock and it said 3:04 A. M.,
so I slid out of bed slowly, upset that my dream had such a rude
awakening. As I quickly did my hair, threw on shorts and a
hoodie, and slapped on some makeup, I over heard my dad talking
to Austin's dad about what roads we were going to take. I
rolled my suit case out of my room, while also holding my purse,
duffel bag, a book, my cell phone, and IPod. When I got out to
the kitchen, i dropped my things and grabbed the first piece of
toast that popped out of the toaster. I quickly shoved it into my
mouth and spun around. To my suprise, Austin and his
big brown eyes were so close to my face, I almost smacked his
face with my toast. The corners of his mouth stretched to a smile
as I thought to myself, "This will be the longest week of my
life..."

Chapter
3:
"Hey
Jessie, wanna take a trip with me to the store to
grab something for dinner, because moms not feeling too good, so
she isn't cooking." Says my dad as he stands in my
doorway.
"Sure daddy." I say as I quickly get changed, and jet
for the door.
"So what are you in the mood for?" My dad says as we
drive through town. "How about hoagies?" I say while
looking over at him messing with the radio.
"Sounds good!" My dad replies as we get to the Sub
Shop. While picking out what I want, my dad is talking to some
guy, so of course, I just walk over and stand there as they hold
a conversation.
"This is my daughter Jessica, I have two other kids, but
their home." Says my father with a smile on his face.
"Hello, I'm John, I've worked with your father for a
while." He greets me with a warm smile and a hand shake.
Wait... I think to myself for a moment... Austin's dad worked
with my dad and his name was John... I look a little closer at
John and slowly start to see theresemblance...Oh my God... By
this time, I had probably blanked out of their conversation for
about five minutes. I quickly begin to listen again and I hear my
dad say "Of course it wouldn't be a problem, we need a
family to fill in anyway!" I automatically knew what they
were talking about... Tennessee.
"Thanks man, we'll definitely go, our family needs
a vacation anyway! Looks like we've got a lot of packing to
do if were leaving tomorrow morning!" Austin's dad said
with an excited look on his face.
"Yeah! We meet at my house at three in the morning!" My
dad said as he paid for our hoagies.
"Alright dude, see you then!" Austin's dad said as
he walked out the door. My dad looked over at me and said
"Looks like we found a family to fill in just in
time!"
"Yeah... guess we did..." I said not knowing what to
expect out of this.

Chapter 2:
I wake up in the morning exhausted because I
stayed up all night texting Austin.. but it was definitely worth
it, because I think we both like each other again. I crawl out of
bed to see that its 2:30 in the afternoon.. Oh gosh. Well
actually I didn't wake myself up, my brother came in my room
and shook me and said "Jess, do you plan on sleeping all
day?!" Ehh, I guess its better that he woke me up
because God only knows how much longer I would of slept if he
didn't wake me up. I go into the living room and sit on the
couch with my little sister and brother. My little sister looks
at me and says "Man Jessie, I thought you were dead!" I
look at her and I'm too out of it to reply. Whenever I wake
up, you'll be lucky to get a reply out of me. Moments later,
my phone vibrates on my lap. I don't even bother seeing who
it is, I just pick it up. I open my phone and slap it to my face
to hear the voice of my aunt Becky. "Hey Jess, you
there?" Says my aunt quickly. "Yeah, yeah, I'm
here,whats up?" I say yawning. "Jess, I don't
think were gonna be able to make the trip." Aunt
Becky says in a low voice. "But we already booked the
cabin.." I reply, getting up from the couch and going back
into my room to get my phone charger because my phones about to
die. "Well, you'regonna have to find someone to
take our place." Becky said slowly.

My Definition Of Perfect
Chapter 1:
"Yes, we booked
it!" These were the same words I've heard come out of
someone in my family's mouth each year as we booked a cabin
in Tennessee for a week. I have to admit that Tennessee is my
favorite place to go each Summer. So, it will be me, my family,
my grandparents and my aunt, her boy friend and their kids. I go
to my room and instantly start packing, because I'm leaving
in less then a week. While throwing every piece of clothing I
wear into my suit case, my phone vibrates and it says "Text
message from Austin." Austin.. the guy I've went out
with before.. The first guy I've kissed, the first guy
I've ever truly loved.
This guy...
I get so
mad at him that I scream at him until I cry...
He just listens and lets me get it all out and then makes me
laugh...
No matter how much I hate him, ignore him, push him away my
feelings are still there... but I know even though it has been
a hard, it's time to move on....
I miss
him
