Chapter 8. (Part One.) ((Stupid Formatting.))
(Last chapter was supposed to say 7..hehe. sowwyyy!)
My mom was beyond ticked when she found out about Josh and I's little 'Play Date.'
She grounded me for a week.
It was probably the longest week of my life.
No friends, no computer, no texting, no anything.
It was almost unbearable.
"Emmmmmmm!" Macy screamed running down the hallway, pulling Alaina with her.
I quickly through my books in my locker as they approached.
"What Mace!?" I asked anxiously.
She had a huge grin on her face.
"The homecoming dance is in a month!" She squeeled proudly.
"She's a little too excited.." Alaina added.
I jokingly rolled my eyes in agreement.
"Settle down child!" I teased Macy.
"Well sorry for being excited." She replied defensivly.
I just smiled at her.
"Anayways." She continued. "I was thinking we could all go dress shopping together this weekend!" She beamed anxiously.
Alaina and I agreed to the idea.
"Works for me." Alaina said happily. "What about you Emma? Can you sacrafice a few hours away from Josh to do a little shopping?" She teased.
I stuck my tounge out at her.
"I'm sure i'll survive." I respnded sarcastically.
"Perfect!" Exclaimed Macy. "My mom can pick you guys up around 10ish on Saturday."
"Sounds good." I said optimistically.
Alaina nodded her head in agreement.
As the bell rang, I went to find Josh to walk to 1st period.
I couldn't stop thinking about dress shopping.
What kind of dress would I get? I thought to myself.
Probably something short.
But what kind of shoes and accecories would I get to go with it?!
Thoughts of the dress cluttered my head until Saturday.
Macy's mom picked us up at 10 and dropped us off at the mall.
We went to the biggest dress shop in California.
There were dresses of all colors, sizes, lengths, styles, brands, you name it.
Whatever kind of dress you wanted, they probably had it.
We wandered around the store trying on dresses for atleast 2 hours.
Each of us searching for the perfect dress.
I had tried on 36 dresses total.
I finally picked a strapless red-ish-pink one, with black ribbon wrapped around the chest area of the dress.
I loved the dress.
Macy picked out a one-strap gress that went over one shoulder.
It was light blue and green with lot's of sparkles.
It looked perfect on her, and it fit her personality 100%.
Alaina picked out a pink dress.
Hers had a few sparkles too.
It was a gorgeous dress, and she looked absolutely stunning in it.
We all picked out heels, clutches, and jewelry to go with our dresses.
Then, we decided to call it quits.
As hard as it is to believe, we had all had enough shopping for the day.
