Today at School...
a girl had her 15th birthday. She told us that her parents were divorced, and her dad hadn't called her to wish her a happy birthday. He hasn't called her in the past two years. While telling the class, she broke out into tears. After that, all of the girls who weren't on very good terms with their fathers started to cry and tell their stories, too. This touched my heart so much. When I got home, I hugged my dad and told him I loved him. For all of you out there who have a father that you see everyday, don't take him for granted, because not everyone has the same thing you do.
